    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hi-

Over month ago I paid Clint Connor $300 for a Herpstat 2 and a specific normal ball python. After three weeks and various emails, I finally got him to ship me the normal female and I received a ball that was not the one we agreed on. I have photos to prove and emails where I confirmed twice on the specific snake.

No big deal Clint. So where's my herpstat? He says his wife mailed it out priority 21SEPT10 (granted I paid him late August). He cannot provide tracking numbers. After waiting diligently for the next week, I still have recieved no package. I have emailed him and have been ignored. I checked on here and he is still bumping his for sale threads. So I posted this in his for sale threads:

"Clint-

I have been trying to reach you through email but I have not gotten a reply nor my package for the herpstat 2. I paid you about a month ago. You said it went out last tuesday morning priority and its been over a week when it should take 2-3 days. I was suppose to go camping last weekend but instead sat around waiting for a package that never came. I asked for tracking numbers and you cannot provide any. You can bump your threads on here but not reply to me. WTF?

Within 30 minutes of posting that, he deleted both of his for sale threads and still did not reply to me. This guy is no good and now I have to follow up through paypal and Visa to try to get my money back.

I'm at work now but I will post all emails when I get home. I am also emailing him the link to this thread to see if he will justify his actions to the board since he won't for me.

I am really sorry to hear that?? I have dealt with Clint several times (although it was years ago) and he did not seem like he would do something like that. I hope that he comes and "takes care of business". Please keep us updated.

I know, he has a good rep on here and I find it hard to believe. But this was a 'going out of business/ sell all" sale and it appears he's not concerned about returning.
 
I just received an email and he says it's on the way.

I will gladly and sincerely apologize if the package arrives but we are out of the window for priority and from what I gathered on the USPS website, the slowest method of shipping would have took 6 days.
 
Well, once your reputation is damaged, it will not be easy to restore if a person chooses to get back into it down the road. I am hoping he comes here and takes care of your issues soon. Good luck!

I appreciate the reply. Any chance you could confirm with your wife what method she used to ship it and confirm with USPS on when it should of arrived? I'm not trying to be a prick, but you said it went priority and it's been 6-7 shipping days and you are still saying it's "on it's way." I'm kind of tired sitting by the door all day just to be disappointed. If it is some kind of shipping that would take 2 weeks, I would be more than happy on waiting, but you said priority.
 
i am not out to screw anyone never have been and never will,,,, my wife droped off the box at the post office and shipped it out through them,,
 
i just talked with my wife and she said the post office told her that it should take 3-4 days from date she shipped it so im not quit sure how she shipped it out but i did tell her proirity mail

and i do live on an island in the middle of lake huron

Understood. I will wait it out until Friday and reply back then. The last thing I wanted to do was make this thread, but you have to look at it from my point of view. I waited 3 weeks for you to ship, was told it went out with 2-3 day shipping, a week later I still have no package, got no reply from you for days via email, and notice you continue to bump your for sale threads.

I will beg and scream if need be to have this thread removed if I receive the package.
 
if it is not at your house by the end of the week i would be more then happy to give you a refund on the herpstat II,, it was shipped out and i don't no if the post office lost it or what but i will still give you a full refund by the end of the week on it if its not there,,, i wish you would have checked your email or asked for a refund befor posting me as a bad guy, though but i goto get to work now sorry again

Nick, you appear apologetic in your last post, but I'm not sure why? Since you haven't yet posted the emails between the two of you we don't know what was agreed upon. Clint Connor claims that he responded to every email you sent. Is this true? If so, "making it right" as you say, may be appropriate, however you choose to do that. But if he did NOT reply to every email, and did in fact avoid communication with you while he had YOUR hard earned money, then I think this thread is deserved.
 
Saying that you've replied to all his emails, and proving you've responded to all his emails are completely different things.

Saying that you've mailed something and proving that you've mailed something are completely different things.

How else did the OP try to communicate with the seller? Email? He probably should've sent a PM (you know he was on here bumpin his ads) or at least gave him a call, or sent an email to the seller with the OPs phone number and asked him to call.

As of this morning, yes he replied, but not before then. Whether they were ignored or not yet noticed... I can't tell you. I am taking his word and just want to move forward from here. I would post the emails but I am working from a govt computer and am not allowed to access private email. I have also decided to wait until the end of the week as we agreed in the posts above and would rather resolve the issue from here than to aggitate it anymore.

Absolutely, there are probably a couple other things I could have done first and I realize this now.

OK, its understandable that you wanna wait and see what comes out of this new proposed solution. But however the issue is resolved or not resolved I think its only fair to post some of the communication between the two of you so we can decide for our selves whether Clint Connor really is a Bad Guy as you've claimed. It is fair to Clint Connor, whose name is now associated with Bad Guy due to this thread, and fair to people in the future who are considering doing business with him. The more info we the public have, the better position we are in to judge who's done what right or wrong.
