In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

EVERY...SINGLE....ONE....of these "questions" is addressed already in this thread. If you want the answers, then READ THEM. If you don't want to read them, THEN DON'T. Why should ANYONE want to spoon-feed you like a baby in a high-chair?

and he accused me of acting like a teenager.... maybe he should look in the mirror... stomping around saying he's not gonna read the entire thread because he doesnt have to in order to make a decision. :NoNo:

Furthermore, if you only like animals until a prettier version comes along, maybe living creatures is the wrong hobby for you to be in. What do you think happens once they're "out the door"? Do they just stop being living creatures who need food and water and shelter and safety, that get ill and cold and hurt?

No I like to breed for mutations, I also conservation work. They are all breeding projects. I could never love a snake like that. It is a one way attachment. I may like them a real lot Have cried when some have died but I also broke it down what i liked the animal so much. It was because it was a good looking animal. You cant get attached to a snake personality like a dog, cat Pig, bird, lizard or fish. Yes some fish come up to the top of the water to get petted and will interact with you unlike a snake.

Thank you . I'm sorry but I'm not attache to most of my animals either . Most are just here in transit . I breed them and save what I want and if it does not met my standers out the door it goes ( for sale). I'm really like some of my fish but when I get a better looking one I forget that one and the new fish gets my heart. Attached to a snake . Please When the last time you let your snake go and it comes back to you . Sorry I can see a mammal that can show feelings back to you. Lizards I can see that too. Most lizards can show some type of bonding towards their owner. I like my snakes Very much, some I really like but attached no. When it comes down if the is a better looking animal it is replaced. the same goes for my fish. Vet Yea unless it it a high end animal it goes to the vet . Home treatment first. Yes, I know how to medicate reptiles. If it is not something speical It get donated to the vet. I'm not spending that much money out of something I can just reproduce again.

I am extremely attached to each and every snake that i own. I would spend whatever money necessary to help any of my animals, healthwise, and if the vet told me that there was nothing that could be done, then at least i know i did all that i could do for my snake.

I'm so glad to see looks are so important to you:rolleyes:

Oh, and by donated to the vet, do you mean euthanized? If that is the case, then i honestly do not see how you are even going to make it in this hobby and business, because just hearing that, i would not buy an animal from you, or sell one to you.

No they get them well and then they put them up for adoption Sham on you for saying I just euthanize them .

Bulllllllllllllllllllll! Fish are not capable of recognizing you at all, and why would they want to "get petted"? They're coming up to get air or to check for food, that's all. That's like me saying my mealworm colony loves me because they swarm the carrots I feed them. That's fine though, if snakes don't float your boat like they do for many people here. But then why are you in them? God knows this isn't a business for small breeders looking to make money, especially in the corn snake market.

The most important fact here and I mean the most important is" Was josh's collection suffering from any health problems before the shipment of Doc's snakes ". If not then There is more than meets the eye here. If there was a problem then we can say Josh's collection was already having problems and may not be any of doc's fault. Before anything this need to be established . Now I like to know how many years Josh has been keeping snakes .[/QUOTE]

again this is what needs to be addressed from the start then taken from there. As none of you provided any answer. As a reptile breeder for many years until this is addressed. All else is rubbish. I have asked this questions many post ago I got told this and that but never did I hear of what state was Josh's animals before Doc's shipment. Dealing with Infectious diseases over the years I have learned a lot . In the old days it was not like it is now . The vets did not know how to treat reptiles. The books that were out were not always the best treatments. Most of the animals that you you kept were wild caught or housed with or in cages that we not cleand right from Reptile suppliers. I'm not new to this breeding since 1985. This is why the state of Josh's' snakes before Doc's shipment need to be addressed before anything else.

Not... entirely true. Koi and goldfish in particular can recognise individuals, and my koi, Kyou, especially liked to be pet. She'd go real still in the water when I rubbed her head and would bump her head against my fingers to be pet. She even trusted me enough to let me lift her out of the water without thrashing.

All of my carp would do the "food dance" for me, but not for other people.

That said however, even if my snakes can't 'bond' with me, I still get them medical attention. Vet visit and radiographs for Lacy within the first week or so I had her. Jared got a vet visit and antibiotic injections because the scales beneath his eyes seemed "odd" to me when he was a hatchling (sinus infection, it turns out.)

My DOG... does not bond. He is not bonded to me *at all*. He simply doesn't bond with *anyone*. But he is still MY pet and thus his well being is MY responsibility and I have spent over $8,000 in medical bills on him for his autoimmune disorder. And he's only 3. I'm not terribly attached to him but he's *mine* so I make bloody well sure he's happy and healthy.

If it depends on you for survival, you bloody well take care of it to the best of your capabilities!

I'm gonna type this really slow.....try to keep up.

Josh already gave a comment about the "state of his collection" earlier in this thread. He also stated how long he has been "in the business". (Whether or not any of us can believe what he says is another matter entirely and up to each individual to judge for themselves.)

Since Josh says he never uses a vet, he has no PROOF of the state of his collection anyhow.

And how on earth could any of US answer that question? That is for JOSH to answer, as they are his snakes. What are we...psychic?

See I'm not so fast to make a opinion. I seen a lot of crap fly over the years. This one guy I know from the reptile show has bought lot of animals off me . Has helped pay my rent sometimes with buying me out at the end of the show. September he got arrested to child pornography I never would have guessed that. I seen some big names get some bad flack and the were not wrong either. I seen first hand some boners pulled buy some top names in the biz.

So what was the comment about the "state of his collection" Josh's if he has posted it. Did he say it was in a sad state of affairs before the shipment from Doc.

As much as you have argued with us... you could have read the thread by now. Sheesh. Go read the thread and find out for yourself.

Apparently not. Which is a good thing, since you're not willing to actually inform yourself about the opinions you are apparently so inspired to make here.

Why don't I just tell you that Josh said his collection is full of wild caught snakes from his own back yard, all crammed into communal tanks with a bowl of dirty water? Why take MY word for it? GO READ IT and judge for yourself.

(and NO....Josh never said any such thing....but YOU wouldn't know since you can't be bothered to see for yourself.)

Na its ok I can talk with you guys and people on other forums at the same time

I asked a simple question about the state of Josh's collection before the shipment from Doc and still no answer . If you are so up on what is happening And know the scoop the answer would have been told But it has not been answered . I bet none of you know what Josh's collection was before the shipment in question.

No, we don't know...because all we have to go on is Josh's word. YOU don't know even that much because you're too lazy to go see for yourself.

If you had read the thread, then you would know the answer to your question.
you know what, never mind, this is like trying to reason with a brick wall. No one is going to hold your hand and walk you through this entire thread. If you want the answer to your question, look for it yourself in the thread:thumbsup:

I'm just trying to get to the bottom of things. I was asked by a few members on cornsnakes to read this thread and post something. I agreed. I really hate drama but had to deal with it all my life. Most of these threads are filled with 90% useless drama and 10% fact not all but most.

Now are you busting chops or are you stating fact please be honest. Why not take your word that is all you have to offer here. A person is always worth their weight in their word. If you can not speak the truth then one not need to post.
