    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hmmmm......the herp community is fairly tightly-knit here in Louisville.....I've never heard of this person named Christ Mccue. Interesting.

It WOULD be interesting to hear about this transaction from "The Veiled Chameleon" side (apparently my partners-in-crime, because I live in Florida)...but somehow I don't see that happening.

Oh well.

Well said. It would be nice if the wall had presented things without so much anger, but to be ripped off sometimes leaves folks with some pent-up hostilities.

While he started this thread, to make him the object of scorn here is disappointing. He may have earned the ban fully, but the crime here is the continued existence of Vigo and Lieber in the business. Not long ago they had a banner ad here, while at the same time there were multi-page conversations about what liars and thieves they were. That was aggravating while it lasted, as folks could come here looking for input, and the front page might not have had an active Vigo thread, but there was the ad.

They still run multiple scams in the Kingsnake Classifieds. That is aggravating as well, but their current name seems to be souring. As noted in a very condemning thread here a few months ago, they have been building a new website, reptileandamphibianwarehouse.com., as they apparently needed a new disguise (this would be Steve's 3rd or 4th reincarnation, btw).

Go there and look folks. Its a good work-in-progress of a scammer reinventing himself. Its a hoot in its audacity, except that it will be used to steal more money.

People here want to impugn folks who blow their stack because they were ripped off. If people need to blast this Wallbanger, so be it. Just don't lose sight of who the criminals are, and that they remain in business, ripping people off. I don't think Wall ripped off anyone.

I had my own BOI thread about Steve of VeiledChameleon. I joined this board just to post that and stuck around, read more than post, but love it here all the same. I like the no-nonsense attitude of the mods/admin.

Tis a shame though. I can totally understand the frustration of it, but you can't bite other people's heads off because you are mad.

And yes, this has been at least the 3rd or 4th name. I know he's had another one before VeiledChameleon and he goes by several different last names. Just sick he can keep on going like this. And until someone actually brings him to court or charges him with a crime, he can keep on scamming.

Sorry to kick this thread back up, but this is why we need to stick together and keep on this guy. He will continue to change his name and continue to have poor practices, we just need to stay one step ahead. Hopefully this time around, after a deep breath, wallshaker understands why this unfolded this way. This is a serious issue and only gets masked by fits like this.

Like I said, I was thisclose to taking him to court for it. Because if he didn't agree with the Judge Judy thing, I was still going to go to small claims. Didn't mean I'd get my money or the snake, but least there would be something in legal writing saying the guy was a scammer.

But once we got the snake, all we can do is share our story. Its gonna take someone who actually can finally slap him with a court proceeding. So long as people just figure it was their loss and do nothing, nothing will happen.
