    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I had placed an order on the 15th but i haven't heard anything, no e-mails or pms about my order. i did it off his site and i am just trying to get in touch with him so i can figure out what is going on with my order. i know i am not the only one because i was able to pm him on the 17th about it, and e-mail, and it went through. today however it said his box is full.

i really don't want to bug him or make it seem like i am harassing him but i kind of need my order filled.

Expecting a confirmation email or an acknowledgement of your existance is not "bugging" a seller......they should have the common courtesy and respect for their buyers to follow up and keep you in the loop with your order. Have you already paid for your order?
 
Payment was made on a Wednesday and they might have waited to ship till Monday to avoid weekend delays........if you don't have your roaches by Friday and they have not made contact with you then I would retract or dispute the payment.
 
i understand that and i am waiting. i just expected an e-mail saying ok i got your payment and i will be shipping them out on this day or at least a reply to my inquiries.
 
I have sold to him a few times. He was understanding of a mistake I had made in one order. I would buy from him. Sometimes it takes him a day or two to respond, but who doesn't have busy days, you know? :) I think you should call if you are that concerned as emails are not always the fastest/best way to communicate.
 
i would but i don't have his number. i have ordered from him before, didn't get exactly what i ordered but that was fine at that time. i thought i would go ahead and give him another go.
 
he has a lot of feedback on other sites. (beardeddragon.org) some good, some bad.... i have purchased from him in the past and it wasnt a good experience...if i need to post proof, let me know...ill have to check my old emails.. his service was horrible....everytime someone questioned him about their order, he came up with some family tragedy/emergency and many other excuses.... many times he was online looking at the forums and wouldnt return any messages or emails... i can understand being busy, but not communicating with your customers is bad business....just my experience...

yeah i understand. the first time i ordered him, this being the second, he had shorted me on what i had ordered. the order aside from the roaches were roach chow and water crystels. the roaches arrived in just the box, they were not held in anything else. it was the first time i ordered them so i didn't know if that was how they were supposed to arrive.

i chalked up the missing items as an oversight and became weary so i ordered directly off his site so there couldn't be any misunderstandings.

this is just an inquiry so i can figure out how to get a hold of him so i don't need any type of evidence. i don't believe any is due on my part. if any is needed i still have my e-mails from that past time and the ones i sent him recently.

Did you ever get the rest of what you ordered? These are very clear red flags to me........I speak from experience and how I treat my roach buyers.
 
If it helps, I use Philly Feeders for roaches and supplies. Excellent communication, quality and high overcounts with very good prices with shipping included.
 
well, i decided yesterday to go ahead with paypal to get a refund since i have already recieved an order to cover what i didn't get. i just went and ordered crickets since that was all i could afford what with the holidays. yesterday after i started with paypal he replied to the paypal dispute. he said his assistant shipped it to the wrong address and shipped it to me again yesterday. that message was after 6pm. i did not have any e-mails asking me to wait for a shipment or that it was already coming. if it arrives today i will accept it if not i will not be here tomorrow to be able to, i will be out of town for the holidays. that being i will not be home until next week. that is why i made my order last week so that i will have everything i need and not have to worry about missing anything while i am out of town.

as i was told to expect, he said he had broken his leg and his son was helping him.

paypal has my address and he has shipped to me before and kept in touch with me throughout the whole thing. why this time is different is beyond me. i know not everyone has the new phones like a blackberry or iphone but most people do now and can access everything from their phones. i have seen that plenty of times here.

really everything could have been avoided if he just told me he wasn't able to ship until a later date. but oh well i guess.

this isn't a bad guy thread just an inquiry. i got the info i needed and i have made my decisions based on what has happened and what everyone has written. i am glad to have been offered so much help from my inquiry.

thank you very much you guys, i really appreciate it and i am looking forward to doing business with people such as yourselves!
 
oh, and not to be mean, i did a search.. on yahoo this thread pops up on the first page, it might be the last one on the page but it is on the first page. on google this thread is the 3rd on the page.
