Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Thanks for the link. I just figured recognition of any of the animals would be the fastest way to know if it was her or not. Might be other flags that cause concern but if it is a legit thing it would really suck to have her lumped into the whole IBD issue.

Yep. I haven't had time to sit down and compare, yet. I wish this seller had listed or put photos of all her animals. That would make the comparison a lot easier.
 
Okay ... since it seems you guys missed what I said ...

I was the one who contacted that woman a month or so ago when her ad popped up in the Tallahasse Craigslist.

I got pics of nearly all the boas she has for sale.

None of them match any of the photos of Ashley Caspillo's collection.

That aside, there are numerous reasons why this person is likely not Ashely Caspillo.

After e mailing back and forth,I don't believe she is Ashley Caspillo. I just wanted be cautious and get some feedback about the situation. I hope I didn't stir anything back up.

It's a perfectly legit question, she was selling until such publicity was brought on several forums.
I agree with Diem, not likely it's the same person..but it's fishy that she was selling ROC from Tx to FLA without mention of permits.
 
Nothing I've heard from Ashley, but Elizabeth has been proceeding with testing and doesn't have results back yet.
 
The grapevine once said Ashley was testing two or three of the animals oh ... a month or so ago ... probably closer to two.
 
Based on all the lies and lack of ethics exposed here, I think it's safe to say we can't count on Ashley's honesty.

She should have closed her collection, and pursued testing when the other snake showed IBD as a cause of death. That's what she asked of the original seller, why should she be above the norm?
She should have AT LEAST had all the other deaths in her collection tested for IBD, and she didn't.

Ashley had a LOT to answer for when she chose to hide possible illnesses, and all of her answers were lies.

With her history of lying about the health and background of her snakes, people have now received all the info they need in order to decide whether or not they want to associate or do business with her.

What she decides to do with her snakes is up to her, all we can do is try to watch out for her selling, breeding, and trading and give people a head's up regarding her lack of ethics.

IMO she SHOULD pay for Kyle & Elizabeth's snakes to be tested before she tests her own.
 
I agree, especially Kyle's since she personally has them amongst her collection and they have had mites both times on seperate occasions when Kyle has gone to visit her in the past several months.

She keeps claiming that she's getting testing done on some of her snakes now but it's clear that she's not. She's too lazy and self-absorbed to care about anyone else or their collections.
 
And as always she certainly has all the time in the world it seems to be goofing off on the computer like she has nothing better or more important to do...
 
I know they Kyle is now finding a vet to get his snakes tested, he's concerned about having to have them anesthetized at this point :/

Kyle lives in Galveston and was going to use Ashley's vet. The vet she uses cannot do anesthesia there (or doesn't feel comfortable doing it) so the snakes would have to be taken... an hour or so north of where Ashley lives I believe?
 
Looks like Ashley's vet is about as useful as she is then. Any vet that is uncomfortable with anesthetized an animal they are supposed to be able to work with needs to go back to school or not work with those types of animals.

Her credibility just died as far as I am concerned. I don't care what degree she has.
