    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sorry, Elizabeth. Hopefully you can get some answers from the vet.
Just keep it separate from the others, and practice sterile QT. Don't make any rash decisions.

Adrya still has several healthy snakes after dealing with IBD for over a year. While you obviously shouldn't add, remove any to the collection, you can still enjoy them for the time you have with them. It may be totallly unrelated.

It doesn't appear that Ashley has had any testing as of yet. My understanding was right after New Year's she was going to pursue testing, then I heard after NARBC she had an appointment, but I've heard nothing following up on that.

At this point, I'm not holding my breath on her to do the right thing, or share any information that may show a problem.

I suggest anyone with any snakes from her pursue their own testing, and encourage others to do the same.
 
This whole situation truely turns my stomach!!! Ashley has put a lot of un suspecting peoples snake collections in possiblr teouble just to make a few dollars. Whatever happened to honesty?? I am very sorry to al who have had to deal with her and have snakes from her that have isssues as this is everyones worst nightmare. I will do eveything I can to keep her away from the reptile world. I am not a big breeder but I have a few good friends that go to all the big shows and I have made all of them aware of her and her shaddy buisness. I have sent this thread to every forum that I have found that she is on to help prevent her sneaking under the radar and selling sick snakes to any more people. She is done in the reptile world. Once again I wish good luck to all who have dealt with her and I hope everyones collection comes out okay.

Glad to see this bumped back at the top, where it should be.
I, too have <i>heard</i> of her persuing testing, just like Courtney. However, that was over a month ago and no one has heard anything officially. Is she? Who knows? If she is testing her animals, how accurate will the results be? There is proof in this thread from by her own word that she was not upfront with Dr. Jacobson about how many deaths in her collection had happened since the initial IBD diagnosis, probably to garner a response in her favor. That in itself is a red flag, among her other MANY contradicting statements.

I'll still stick by my theory that if she wanted to do anything right at all, she would have stuck it out here no matter how hard people have come down on her.

People, if you've bought animals from her, get them tested if you can or care about the well-being of your collection. If she's still posting on forums you frequent, don't reply to her or tell her she's doing a good job with her animals or whatever. Maybe she will get the hint and just stop.

From what I saw when I just went to check it out, it's not on the front page, but if you click the link that says Care & Info, all the way at the bottom of that page she has a "Coming Soon" chart and a list of morphs listed.

I think that meant to imply that section of the site was coming soon. She had added that info and forgot to take off "coming soon".
 
That's really frightening, Elizabeth. Just remember, Ashley thought it was fair for the person she blamed for passing IBD on to her to pay for medical expenses and the cost of her collection. Once/if you get a get a vet's confirmation, I'm sure she'll still feel that way just as passionately (no, not being sarcastic AT ALL).
 
She was here (but had nothing to say) last time this was bumped... pretty telling that she is still watching this thread, but hasn't had a word to say about testing (or, um, Phoenix).

Hi, Ashley! Thanks for checking in on us. Any reassurances you'd like to give to your friend who's snake is now exhibiting some very troubling symptoms?
 
Don't worry I don't care bout her any more. I just reported in so anyone else who was concerned about THEIR snakes from Ashley, or about Ashley, could know what was happening with a snake from her. I day I don't care about her, because whether she weighs in or not, I know it's never in the best interest of anyone's animals, so it doesn't matter anymore.
 
What DOES matter is raising awareness about this breeder and others like her (far too many under the radar, I had one CHILD in my town tell me he would take my snakes, then tell me "one of my burms had IBD..." I was floored. Apparently he sells snakes too).

I think that shows just how good her HUSBAND's word is too, and just how much he can be counted on to help Ashley do the right thing.:shrug01:

It wasn't you Deb, someone else specifically implied they thought it might be a list of what she might have going on in the future. I recall that part of her site being that way for a long time, before all of this. :confused:
 
Has anyone heard anything? I almost bought a baby from her... very happy I didn't... I saw her behind a table in Arlington.. hope none of her snakes were on that table.. i hope her collection gets better.. she had some very nice snakes, and I loved her paradox, i hope she gets it straightened up and everyone test to be okay...
