heres the story
last year i purchased lobster roaches, when some one told me i would not be disappointed with them if i bought them. i purchased them thinking that they would produce fast and i could feed off adults. well they did produce fast but the adults were super fast and i didnt like feeding them off. they climbed glass and i didnt feel like having them escape the enclosures if i did happen to drop one or 2 while feeding.
i kept the colony in the garage with petroleum smeared on the inside of the bin, and a lid with screen. i kept them there for a month untill i found some one local that wanted them.
about 6 months ago i found a male lobster roach in our bathroom , which is right above the garage. since then i've been seeing lobster roaches flying around outside in our back yard(YES THEY CAN FLY!) i have smashed and killed 3 outside. i have found a few in the water containers for my reptiles. like they wanted to drink it but fell in and died (like crickets) and lastly. heres the big fricken issue
i found a bunch of small nymph lobster roaches in side my dubia colony.
wtf do i do? they seem to be infesting my house. this species is not safe to have at home. i dont know why any one would keep them....
i have never had any thing like this happen with dubias, i've been keeping dubias for 3 years now. i had hissing roaches for a year and didnt have issues with them either....
i already pay for pest controle every 3 months they come out and spray the house and back yard but i am still having issues and now they are infesting my dubia colony.... meaning that now i have glass climbers in my dubia colony....
what do i do now?
