    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Rep power reduction

The scientist in me is fascinated with the way that everyone (including myself), has come to value these imaginary little green squares!
The breeder in me just wanted to know I wasn't being bashed by someone who couldn't talk my prices down to nothing.

Stick around and you'll see them come and go as I have. They have been adjusted and zeroed out a few times in my time here. The day may come when it is eliminated altogether. Wait and see the complaints then. :mah::mah:
 
I'm with Dave, the numbers come and go and get zeroed out. But cream rises to the top, and all of y'all will get your numbers back in no time :)
 
OK, so I am at Rep Power 23... what exactly does the 23 mean? Can I give someone else 23 points if I give them good karma? I'm confused by this.

I didn't even notice the reduction until I read about it....well, truthfully, I still haven't noticed it because most of the time I don't access the site via that page. As Dave pointed out, it happens. I was questioned about this last night by a person that was unhappy with the reduction - upset by the loss; but no idea of what karma power was :shrug01:

Now I'm curious, though, so I'll have to take a look (probably by morning).....though the information will be rather useless since I don't know what my KP was prior to the change.

OK - I checked - my karma power is down to 231.

Mine went from 41 to 11. I say, get rid of karma all together. It really doesn't do anything anyway. Just my 2 cents.
