Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

He had a second chance, but he screwed that up too! Why would you go through all that trouble making an alias and screw it up immediately all over again? If he had sent me the gecko imagine how many more sales he would've made because people would've started trusting him.

After his last PM to me, I responded "Just keep it! I'm tired of your lies and empty promises, all you're doing is wasting my time!" So between that, and telling him to take the gecko and shove it, lol, I don't expect to ever see that gecko, and I'm totally OK with that. I'm so over it! At least I didn't end up totally empty handed.

I used the new feature which yielded zero results for vwgeckos but a separate search using the search feature did yield results to this thread. He now has his own thread so it doesn't matter at this point. Thanks for the link?

It was asked why this thread wasn't found using the BOI button on the classifieds, so I posted a quick link as a refefrence to anwer that question in hopes this wouldn't go off topic. post # 14 at the link provided states:
"As long as people understand that it is limited in that the text string being used in the NAME profile field and the member name will ONLY search for EXACT matches." also note the search will only return results from the BOI forums if the search criteria is in the TOPIC line of threads within the BOI forums.

I hope this is more clear. If not, let's take this to PM please.

Yup. Makes no sense in the least, which is part of why I really thought that this would have ended differently...

As far as I'm concerned, at this point these geckos are blacklisted, poor things.

I wonder if he ever did in fact take care of the gecko's tail? :(
 
guess i wasn't just jumping to conclusions with my last post when i was still a little pessimistic. Would have been nice though if it actually was a new person. But like i said before. If a friend was good enough to loan him his ID what would stop him from also posing infront of his cages holding the ID.
 
and I def think telling her she was gonna get the gecko was merely an attempt to buy some time while he sold some geckos. Funny he had everyone convinced but just couldn't go through with it.
 
I was never convinced either...just playing along ;) I never even told my coworkers to be on the look out for the box, b/c I knew it was never coming. I actually had that last post of mine all typed up and saved so I could cut and paste it here, lol.

Actually, I thought it odd, because foxxxxxet was posting a lot of ads (too many per day per Pangea rules), then CrestedMania showed up and posted an ad. I recognized the pictures and have screen shots.

Did Chad have any of those geckos though?

And so the plot thickens...So basically all of these accounts are all the same person. Interesting.

I didn't recognize any of the geckos personally.
 
I just went through all the photos and don't recognize the geckos, but then Chad was only posting pics of the higher end geckos.

Katie- would you post up the screenshots? I hadn't made any connection between CrestedMania and Foxxxxxet...

The little cards in the pictures are what connected them, plus the geckos looked similar, but I didn't have screen shots of the foxxxxet ads.
 
So basically that proves that even if this isn't Chad or one of his buddies, there's still some funny business with these geckos...

Hey can someone take a SS of the ad here on Fauna, just in case? My puter won't let me do SS for some reason I have yet to figure out...
