Im glad you appologized Brandon. It def turns my opinion around a bit that you were willing to and didn't drag this thread out longer than needed. Im a pretty good judge of character and after speaking with her a little I could just see she was pretty upset about the whole situation and was caught off guard. I mean I think everyone here would be upset if they were in the same situation where they were trying to do good by an animal and a buyer and this happens. Patience is really key here just to give benifit of the doubt until all the details have been brought to light. I can see being upset over such a beautiful snake but these red X's on the thread are there forever.

This is why it is important to read the rules of the BOI before you make the decision to post one.

They are permenant. They are removed only if they violate the rules of the BOI.

A Bad Guy Thread will now always pop up for her. Hopefully, people will read it and see the entire situation, but there will always be people who will not do this.

Im so happy we finally solved this issue. I kind of hate the fact that my name will now give off bad vibes because of this boi but hopefully people read through it. Well...Brandon Ripple himself gave me the idea to do an auction/best offer post. I've posted more pictures of her up on my facebook. Im letting people know before hand that she is being treated for a mild RI and will be available for shipping Thursday or Friday because she is showing great improvement. Also she is being nippy when being taken out of her tank. Im being told that she is an Ultra-breit and possibly have the VPI bloodline. I've heard this from a few people but im not 100% sure.

I wouldn't advertise her as VPI simply because it is not ethical to claim an animal as part of a line you have no proof of.

Otherwise, glad it has been resolved and so long as you keep doing good business, this BOI will eventually become irrelevant.

it was a suggestion from the guy who posted this boi. If he wouldn't have suggested it then I wouldn't have done it. Its not like i've raised the price. I haven't put a price tag on her. In a BOI post, ordinarily there is a buyer, a seller, and readers, who are potential customers. If readers are continuing to feel that the transaction has not been handled well, the issue certainly remains as far as future transactions go.

Getting through a course of antibiotics does not ensure that the snake is healthy, even if it's condition appears to be improving with treatment. Keeping her for at least a few weeks for observation and peace of mind is a small price to pay to avoid another thread with red Xs.

I know in some states you can't sell another persons property just because they left unless they have been properly evicted. I'm not sure of the case here, or the details, just thought I would mention it having been through it. It would suck to sell the snake cheap and then get sued for a lot down the road.

I was thinking the same thing. Even if she seems better, shipping is quite stressful. It can bring out any lingering illness and make her quite sick if she isn't 100%.

I just have to ask - you say you told the ex why you are selling the snake, but didn't say that he was okay with it. Is he?

Yes, we told you she's an ultra breit. You should not say the snake is VPI bloodline if you aren't absolutely sure. There's no reason for it. It's still the same morph whether or not you know its bloodline and there are other people breeding the same thing.

Also, please don't ship Thursday or Friday. Stick to Mondays and Tuesdays.

I may have missed it, but why is it again if you're going to go through with selling her, you aren't just selling her for the originally agreed-upon price to the OP of this thread? Obviously her RI issues were not a real problem if she is, within a few days, ready to ship out. If you're now planning to run an auction, where the price will undoubtedly soar well above your original price, then the original suspicions I and several others had are about to be vindicated.

Marina had said she didn't want to sell me the snake after I started the BOI, so I suggested she run an auction style thread. It would be best that she get at least closer to what it's actually worth. I would have felt kinda bad taking her for only $170 anyway. I don't think there is any harm in that.
