    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

you really need to stop accusing me of being a liar. i posted the invoice like you wanted. Don't get mad because your not getting your way by trying to make me look bad. I don't deal with people like you because its a waste of time. And love doesn't have a price tag. But when your 20 years old, in college and have one job. Giving someone $1000 isn't easy! its about time you get off my case because your posts are meaningless.
 
I guess it's time to start cruising local CL ads to see if I can find albino bps for $50. If lots of snake lay-people are buying very expensive morphs for ridiculously low prices, surely they're out there!

The only two scenarios that make sense to me for the cheap price tag:

1) Seller is lying about the RI and got a better offer. Vet bill is for other critters

2) Seller is telling truth about the RI but knew it prior to sale; halted sale because critter took turn for worse.

Help me out here, y'all with extensive snake critter experience. Does a snake suddenly wake up with an RI that needs vet care, or does the illness manifest itself for a while and get worse?

But it is on YOU to know what you are selling. Not only to be an honest seller, but to protect the animal and other honest hobbyists/business people should that snake end up in the hands of any of the more unscrupulous people in the industry.

In my experience, a snake at the onset of an RI can be a pretty quick fix...but to go from fine to needing Baytril does not happen overnight. Again, that is just my experience.

I still have her!!! How did i get offered a better offer? The OP offered me $400 for her and I may just take it so you guys can go comment on someone elses' stuff. Obviously she had an RI or was getting one when i listed her on here. It is mild so it hasn't had time to progress! She started to act weird so i took her to the vet and "ttaahh dddaaah" he said to me "shes coming down with an RI". He prescribed baytril for her. My dog went it because 2 months ago he got attacked by a german shepherd and they had to pull out his stitches and check up on him. The beardie went in for a fecal exam. The snake went in for a checkup and got the baytril because of the RI!
Look back at the facebook messages again! I told him that i went to the vet on the 2nd! please tell me why i would take every other animal except for her?? come on! make some kind of sense!

I've been doing good business on fauna! You really need to go back and do some homework on everything that was said before. I am 20 years old and in college so im not playing any card! i said that because you think its so simple for me to just give a guy $1000! Don't just copy some of the text copy ALL OF IT so people know what your talking about!
 
this thread is kinda weird.

however, ive been in veterinary medicine now for almost 15 years (emergency/critical care, reptile/amphibian medicine as well as gp) i have never seen a diagnosis on an invoice.

that being said, the seller is able to go get the records that contain the patient info, initial entering concer, diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis. or most every (if not every) veterinary clinic is paperless now days, and can get it emailed to her, then just post the full visit on here

When i do business its my money! and i've never sold anything more than $200 shipped. I have college to pay for and bills not to mention the money I have to pay to feed my animals! I rarely have extra money to spend. But i gave him the $250 he wanted because I loved him! Left me in a hole but I did it anyway! I thought you said love doesnt have a price tag?!! So stop trying to put a value on him!

Despite the odds of a high end animal passing through 3 sets of hands without any party having any clue what the value of the blood is being ridiculously low, I do believe Marina's story. I can definitely see a person not picking up on an RI, especially since she's not a snake person. As far as how she's represented herself here, I'm willing to chalk it up to her being a 20 year old college student...otherwise known as an immature kid. Best course of action would be for her to put the buying/selling of reptiles on the back burner until she finishes school, finds gainful employment, and grows up a little. I don't mean this as a slight against her in any way, just calling it how I see it.

If it is found out otherwise that she is acting in a calculated, manipulative manner, I will gladly eat my words...until then, I have to say I do believe her.
 
So is this now a matter of people not believing she actually has the animal in question? It just seems that way with the line of accusations and questioning going on.
 
am i missing something ?? while some of the scenario doesnt make sense (personally speaking from the seller), the snake is able to be sold at whatever price the seller (and whatever potential buyer). there are sooooooooo many snakes listed on ads that are, what people say, "below market value"
however, "market value" is an abstract notion.

market value is whatever the seller puts a product up for, and whatever the buyer ends up finally paying for said product.

the price of the snake being sold here, should be very irrelevent

Im immature? compared to all these people who keep trying to mess with me for no reason? I believe an immature kid would be someone who doesnt go to college! someone who still needs their parents to survive. Im not immature at all. I've been on my own pretty much since i was 16 years old. Im much more mature than most of the 20 year olds i know. i can't laugh because i find some of them amusing? They really are because anyone who has time to start picking at straws trying to find something to argue about is VERY immature. At least im doing something so I can be successful and not have to sell reptiles for the rest of my life.
 
I'd have to say that I too, believe Marina. Some young men (and women) can be very immature during a break-up and I believe he did exactly what she is saying he did.

Badgering her about how much love is 'worth' really isn't adding anything constructive to this thread other than making her defensive. I would be defensive myself if I were in her position.

Marina, perhaps getting a written "go ahead" from your ex to sell her would be the best thing for you to do in this situation.

Biologically speaking i am a woman! and if lucille was half the woman you are making her out to be then why is she messing with a girl (which your making me out to be) thats very childish. I popped up on here for no apparent reason! we've already found out the miscommunication that happened and have found this boi to be in the wrong. people like lucillle keep making it worse by trying to find other things to argue about. Its so sad because the OP doesnt even have an issue with me anymore. He knows i have the snake. I've taken more pictures of her.
