    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I've actually stayed away from everything about this case like the plague- I hate everything about this kind of story and media hype, especially since I don't trust news media in the least so have zero confidence in ever being able to know the full story.

All that being said- she WILL have consequences for this, as she HAS been found guilty by society at large, and EVERYONE has seen her face. Going anywhere in public (much less lying on the beach) I suspect won't be an option for her, ever. Unless she has the means to go find and live in a country that did not publicize this trial, she'll be dealing with this for the rest of her life.

I'd also hate to be one of those jurors, too. I didn't follow to know if their faces or names were ever made public, but if so I imagine their lives will be forever changed by all the criticism and downright hate and threats, etc, they will receive as well.

The whole situation surrounding every aspect of this case is just sickeningly sad, IMO. That's really all I can say about it.

She already scammed a judge and jury, maybe now she will go after a plastic surgeon to make her face unrecognizable...But if she can not find one, I would be willing to help her with that!
 
Im siding with Dan on this one. Everything pertaining to the case has been presented and she was found not guilty. Does everybody think she was guilty? yes. Could you blame that on all the media coverage before and during the case? yes. However although she was found not guilty in criminal court i believe she has a civil suit against her from a woman who was detained for being the fake nanny.

Do you really think that wreck is smart enough to scam a Judge and Jury?...Her and Octomom will have a new reality show now,and the sad thing, it would probally be a hit show....I still say she ends up prego with in a yr.

Just tired of you people who have it in them to even say "Oh the jury heard the case, and she was found not guilty. Not only of murder but the manslaughter charge too!!??? Really?? Anyway, they heard the case, and ruled. Those 12 people must be right! That is hilarious. Look at it from the other side, people let out of prison after DNA was finally checked and found to be not theirs. So a jury heard those cases and ended up being very WRONG. So if they would have convicted her, and she sat in jail the rest of her life we would never know but she was enough at fault regardless with the evidence they DID have to sit and rot.

Ummm, nope they DIDN'T have evidence or she would be in jail...It's really a very simple concept.
 
Haha good one. Like I said in other cases they thought they had evidence, but apparently they were wrong. This is a case where they clearly had SOME evidence ( I understand it may not be enough for the 1st degree charge) yet they got it WRONG. You are right though. It is simple.
 
No, the media had everyone set for a lynching...everyone bought into the media BS like they usually do....And how do you know they got it wrong?..In your mind,maybe they got it wrong but that's opinion not fact
 
As is she is innocent. So seeing as I have two daughters I would be more comfortable with her in jail. You see I would never be in any situation like this, would you? I would guess NOT. I believe even people we know as "bag guys" are much better than the scum they found not guilty yesterday. My point is if you GOT YOURSELF into a situation like this...you are guilty. If you do not report your 2?...3?...year old missing for a month, and you are partying on top of that...GUILTY. Sit and rot. I mean are you serious.
 
the whole thing about people being set free because of DNA is a sign of changing times. If you think about it, not too long ago, slavery was accepted, women couldn't vote, and Cocaine was a common occurrence among normal society. The charges were too high and there was only circumstantial evidence leading to the killing. We may "know" that she is guilty but going by the law there was not enough evidence to find her guilty "beyond a reasonable doubt". Times and sensibilities change, maybe someday there will be a perfect way to determine guilt but right now the best that can happen is trusting the jury to come up with the verdict.
 
GUILTY of being a piss poor parent..worlds full of them. You have 2 daughters and her going to jail would make you more comfortable?....ummmm,ok
 
Give me a show of hands from the parents out there: Is there any way you could possibly go out and laugh and party the day after your child drowned/got kidnapped/disappeared? Even if there was an accident, even if you were afraid you'd get in trouble, I cannot even imagine how psychotic a person would have to be. No matter how this baby died, this whole family is truly ill.

If anything happened to 1 of my girls,I don't think I'ld be able to function in any capacity.
 
Some of us have been keeping close tabs on this case from July 2008. We have pored over each and every piece of evidence, read and listened to every police interview, viewed every photo (thank you Florida for the Sunshine Law). We know. We know that there will never be justice in this case. Every human deserves it but sometimes juries get it wrong. Remember Oj Simpson? Michael Blake? Michael Jackson? Of course these were all celebrities that got away with terrible crimes, there are many, many everyday, non celeb people that get away with murder and horrible crimes against other people every day.

But it's the American justice system, and it's the best in the world. That doesn't mean that we cannot make it better, that we cannot change it for the better.

 
New news---Casey goes free next Wednesday. And she gets to spend her 6 days in solitary so nobody hurts her.

I think thats BS... I do not agree with the Jury's decision... I am with most of you on this..
What type of mother that is "soooo concerned" for her child goes out to bars and parties and drinks and lies about her job and lies about where she is and lies about a nanny... then says oooh no i was trying to find her myself... why?? you don't have the resources that the police do... and i think she should have ATLEAST been charged and sentenced with Child Neglect and Child Endangerment....

Too many times it is portrayed that "young mothers" want their freedom and it sickens me. I too was a "young mother" but I knew that I had to make serious changes and sacrifices... in the event that it was too much for me or I didnt want to be a mom, I know my parents or family members would have gladly taken my daughter... but I chose to be a parent... I chose to be a mom and Ill be damned if I could sit by for a month because I am "conducting my own search" after all of my lies were unfolded... she deserves whatever happens to her in the long run... someone on the street will take care of her... someone that has nothin to lose and has lost their children to either someone kidnapping and murdering them... or just thinks this sick psycho bimbo needs to be taken out...

I cant help wonder how long it takes until she is either pregnant again or someone takes her out of this universe... I read the family is having major death threats against them and her... and letting her out next week is outrageous... i dont care if she has served 3 yrs... shes never goin to change.. i heard she said the first thing she wanted to do was watch a movie? seriously? if i was found innocent of murdering my kid, i would be looking into what i can do to find out who did... ugh this whole thing makes me sick...
