master of the mind
Ok, here is the issue. I went to work yesterday at about 130pm. While I was at work my thermostat blew a fuse and stopped working. I am guessing it was due to a power short in my house that happened at 115pm yesterday. Before I left I saw the temp on the incubator still said 89.3 degrees. When I got home a bit after midnight I saw that the temp of the incubator dropped to 76.8. I quickly got the temp back up to 89.5 and checked the eggs, all still have veins and look ok. Does anyone think this will affect the putcome of them hatching on time, safely or even surviving? I had 3 clutches in the incubator. clutch 1 was at 44 days, 2 was at 36 days and 3 was at 17 days. Please let me know what you think and if anyone has ever had an incubator fail for that long did it affect your eggs?
