In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

From Candling to Baby

Ooh, but Steve...look at all those veins! That's awesome! And if the flashlight doesn't hurt your eyes, it's not bright enough. LOL!

Here's another flashlight we use around here, with very similar results to the Surefire flashlight. There are several places that carry it online, but here's one so you can see what it looks like...

http://www.amazon.com/Rayovac-Produ...PINY/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1314158282&sr=8-4

If you can't view the link, the flashlight says Highbeam by Rayovac on one side, and high powered LED 1 watt on the other side. At the above link, I think it costs $22....or something like that.

Happy flashlight shopping!

That looks like a bang for the buck there!!

I posted this on the other thread, but the 115 lumen Coleman Max is great for candling...and available at WalMart for $20-25 (depending on the model)

Thanks, Krystal! I hope to see some more on here that everyone else has done soon!

And thank you, Harald! I'm going to have to get one of those for myself, in case the backup ever goes out.

Here are a few new pics from last night. These next few are all the same egg...

the surefire ultra has a high output of 100 lumen for $285.
the nebo redline has an out put of 220 lumen for $30.
now you only have to worry about blinding your snake before it hatches...lol

Oh, I wanted to add... Bree said I need to watch these guys when they hatch because they will all be "Looking for the Paparazzi with a vengeance." ROFLMAO!

Gunning for the Paparazzi Babies......just what we all need. I already have trouble with their flying leaps across the table at me.....watch out world. We'll have more scary tabloid stories about Rabid Ball Pythons preying on defenseless photographers around the world! (Like the Paparazzi are ever defenseless!)

I was looking at that one yesterday but didn't like the design. If you used it for candling, wouldn't light be escaping through all of those little gaps on the head of the light?

I thought of that as well, but I AMA machinist and I would just mill it off.
You could also use a eye cushion from binoculars or a shooting scope to cover tha gaps
