• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy west coast roaches Daniel Penunuri

I think personally you are going above and beyond. But that is your right. I still stick to my story however, That on any dead arrivals we require a notice within 6 hours of receipt. Just like all other breeders dictate in their guarantee's that buyer pays shipping cost.

I will still replace them, I never had an issue replacing them, I just cant pay for a new shipping label when we was notified a day later after the roaches sat in the mailbox, then sat in the shipping box the rest of the day.

If you would have contacted us immediately , we would have shipped them out and paid for the shipping ourselves and even doubled the order. That would have been our negligence. When you purchase an item via paypal and I create a label via paypal, you get a notification via email that tells you the tracking number and you can see the movement as the item makes it way to you.

I don't want to get into a blowout over this again, but the buyer has to be just as responsible as the seller when the item are perishable. The full details were posted in the auction on Ebay. The same auction still exists on Ebay unchanged as it was when you purchased the item.

If you were unable be home to retrieve them from the mail, or open the box when it came i. I am not sure there would have been anything I can do to prevent them from overheating and dying in the previous shipment or any future shipments.

I'm baffled. I can't believe you still don't understand. Your shipping policy states there would be a signature required. There was someone at my home waiting to sign for the roaches. However, you didn't require a signature, so the mailman put them in the mailbox. It's well known that we've been breaking records for heat in Fort Worth. It was well over 80 degrees, so they died. There was nothing I could do to prevent this. You should hold yourself to higher standards. I shouldn't have to pay for anything else, shipping or water crystals or whatever...they died because you sent them to a location that was hella hot and had the mailman put them in a mailbox, moron.

I feel like there must be something wrong with you. I truly hope you get better.

Peace outside.

Meredith, I read your link and it was clear from your account what happened. Without a signature requirement when you were expecting one, there was no way you could have know delivery was made.

Just so you all know. The post office has online tracking. You can actually look and see where your package is.

Thank you very much Lucille. I appreciate your response. This is so frustrating.

And Jon, the tracking that was sent to me said the package wouldn't be arriving for another day ....again...something I stated in my messages to you. Seems like you haven't read or listened to anything I've said so far. That's unfortunate.

Ebay requires tracking information. The usps scans a package, it registers based on tracking number and updates. It will tell you the day before the item gets to you that its in your town, and it tells you when it is out for delivery. It also tells you when it delivered.

Again I will send you more roaches, and ill pay for it. We can just agree to disagree.

You're more than welcome to send me the batch I paid for. I will ask, though, if you do decide to send them [without expecting any money from me for anything], please make sure they are contained, and please require a signature.

If I receive them and they are alive, then I will gladly remove the negative feedback from my blog and I'll post an update here to let everyone know you handled the situation.

Again, thanks to everyone for their feedback!

Nothing to disagree about here. The following is copied from your ebay ad,

Live delivery is guaranteed to area in the U.S. where temperatures at time of delivery are 85 degrees and below. If shipments are going to location that fit into this category a signature at delivery will be required to accept package.

You are just wrong. Try living up to your TOS, You'll be amazed how easy things will get.

Its our channel, but I didn't make the video. That's an ex- employee who no longer works with us who made that video.
If you notice, he is giving an email address that is not our business email address, which is exactly why they no longer have anything to do with us.

Just out of curiosity (apologies if this is considered off topic and violates any Fauna R & R) if the video gives fraudulent information why wouldn't you have it removed from your channel?

The PO's tracking info isn't updated as often as they say. I've had stuff delivered and there is still no update on the website. Don't count of that for customers to know where their package is.

Ebay does not require tracking info. It's your choice to purchase it. Paypal will require it if there is a dispute. I've been using ebay for years and have over 1900 positive feedback (100%). You can't even buy delivery confirmation for media mail.

No they do not require tracking information for someone to buy an item. But they do indeed require a tracking number from the seller. If no tracking number, Ebay will not back the seller in anyway in any dispute, nor will paypal.

Ebay under sold items records all tracking numbers, and ship dates, and marks it appropriately when the item is shipped.

Also about 2 months ago Paypal got into the business of verifying shipments and delivered.. This was not something they used to do, but if you look at their policy updates, its right there.

In the past paypal did not get involved in the shipping aspect of transactions. When Ebay decided they were requiring tracking information to be eligible for seller protection, PayPal followed suit and requires it for any dispute now. They leave you alone until there is a problem.

They very much require tracking numbers, and you can also print your shipping label right from paypal or Ebay, and in your transaction ledger they provide a seller with a method to purchase a shipping label for cheaper than the post office rates. They ask you to buy a label, or enter the tracking number and mark it shipped.

They may not back you, but they also don't require a number to sell. I just sold items a week ago. I didn't enter in the tracking numbers for them (even though I do have them). I'm not going to keep argueing with you. I have no reason to lie about anything I have stated.

Nor do I, I am not arguing. I am simply stating what is the norm as it pertains to online marketplaces. If my claim was soooo outlandish, why does all the major website provide you with tracking and confirmation. They dont do it for the giggle of it. They didn't pay a coder to script it because it sounds nice, its how business is done.

And if your not adding the tracking number to your purchases, you are placig yourself at risk.If a buyer decides to dispute the transaction whter its good or not, you will lose, thus lose money. Then they can go and leave negative feedback and there is no way you can do anything about it. But if you submit the tracking number, and they can see its delivered, and you get bad feedback, Ebay will remove it, and paypal will cover the dispute.

They did this for the very reason we are talking about. To make sure both parties are doing as they should to make the market place an even better marketplace.

I urge you to take a few minutes to read Ebay and Paypal policies regarding this issue. Its right there for everyone to read.

OMG! You really don't get it. You keep saying that things are required. I'm just telling you that they are not. I didn't say not to do it. Just don't state a fact that isn't true.
