    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

United States. i shipped in July 09. you had a purple for two or three weeks and it died and i replaced it with another purple that my friend produced. it was from a different pair of snakes completely. i remember both snakes i sent you. if you managed to kill both of them thats on you. that little retics i sold this year was the first retic i ever had prolapse. i kinda think your lying and trying to get a free snake from me. i mite be wrong but since over two years passed im not replacing it.

Pinworms and protozoa have NOTHING to do with prolapse!! It is most commonly associated with dehydration and overfeeding and it is much more common in retics that other species
 
actually from a medical standpoint, any intestinal parasites can help (key word help) lead to prolapse, because they are always feeling like that have to defecate, and they push and can lead to prolapse
 
Rodney, nowhere in that pm did the guy ask you for anything, so what makes you think he's trying to get a free snake from you? His pm simply stated "Hey man, I had the same thing happen, and it sucks". I don't see where he asks you for a replacement, refund, or anything.
 
i was posting to see if anybody had the same problem. ive heard of snakes prolapsing but not dying. so has anyone had a snake prolapse and then die right a way. i dont know why he would wait two years to tell me about it when he had a problem with the first one and i took care of it right away.

and i would have to disagree that retics prolapse a lot. i think anyone that keeps retics would agree with me
 
a well kept snake (or even decently kept), should not prolapse. it is not normal, it is not common. its a medical issue that should not happen, let alone, a lot
 
thats what i mean it dosnt happen a lot and when it dose its usually dosnt kill the snake. i sent the guy a healthy snake and three weeks later it died. i sent him another healthy snake that was from a different breeding and was a couple months older and it dies too. it sounds kinda odd to me.
 
For what its worth, the purple I got from Rodney hasn't had any prolapse issues since the original posting.

He is a little over 6 feet now and on jumbo rats.

Well thats good that you gave Rodney some follow up credit. Things go wrong but its what makes it right that is credible!!!
