Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Repti racks

Nice ending to the story!
Repti-racks proves themselves to be honorable long before the OP, and the OP tries to slink in at the end and beg the person he burned (yeah, you paid him back, but he was supposed to be getting an awesome deal on a cage, and you stole the deal you offered him) to say nice things about him.

That is all that matters. YOU are happy!!

Your "credit ability" (I assume you mean credibility) is going to stay down regardless of a response from Nick. "Credit ability" does make it sound like an ability to get loans, so maybe you worded it right!
 
at the end i didn't win either i only got 50 for the cage which i was forced to sell esp since no one wanted it,more people are interested in critter condos than repti racks caging for bearded dragons

i still can care less,i am just laughing at the people who thought i was trying to scam nick when i wasn't so in the end i am the one LMAO anyway ill wait for nick to respond peace.
 
Nobody is talking about "winning", just doing the right thing. If you hadn't sold a cage that you didn't have, and then cancel that sale, Nick wouldn't have been involved, and you would be here smelling like a rose. Repti-racks would have to answer some questions. As it turns out, just bringing it up spurred them to do the right thing!
It was your constant attempts to bring others down with you so that you were not the only one losing that hurt you.
 
Nick should wait at least 45 days to respond, so you aren't able to reverse the paypal when he does.
 
me and nick didn't do a paypal transaction,he wanted something from amazon for 169.00 which he got,some audio equipment for his car or something,he already has the goods so yea i can't reverse anything at the end of the day.

he can confirm the transaction when he gets the time

I don't even want to know how that idea came up in conversation.

Given your history, I would be afraid to enter into a deal like that, because I Would be afraid that a fraudulent transaction would put me in possession of stolen items.

While you and Nick seem to have come to some weird agreement, in the end of the officially on topic portion of this thread...Repti-Racks proved to be better than was suggest by the negative thread, and THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS!!

And btw nick knew I was selling the rack I told him before I sold it as shipping the viv was to costly and nick nor me wanted to cover that cost, so please get info right kid

I think people are just mad I followed up on a refund and they didn't get the satisfaction of saying u scammed nick lol

Or the fact that me and nick agreed on everything prior I the refund which gets them mad , sorry but it's not your choice

And jcss just stop I still get sales on fauna kid so spam my threads if you like but people still purchase goods from me here lol
 
Just wanted to update - Almando has purchased things from Amazon for me. He said he would ship the rack to me or give me a refund if it was too much. After I found out he sold it I told him I was looking forward to the refund because I had something picked out. He offered to pay for it, which was more money than I originally bought the repti rack for so I think it worked out pretty well. I didn't get a new enclosure for my beardie, however, I did receive something else that I was interested in of greater value. Almando said he would pay me back, which he did. Thanks everyone for your concern though I greatly appreciate it.
 
I am glad you are satisfied.

I will say that unless you got something valued at greater than $300 (as the cage that you were getting such a great deal on) then you are not getting something of greater value than you paid for. More than you paid, sure, but not more than what you were to receive.

It is safe to say you would not have paid over $300 for the cage, or you could have bought it from rept-racks. You were getting it for $120, so you jumped at the opportunity.

It is as if he said "Hey man, I will give you 3 $100 bills when I get them if you let me borrow $120 now." You gladly accept the deal, and when he doesn't get the $300 that is rightfully yours, he changes the terms and offers you $170. You are money ahead, but would you let a stranger borrow $120 for a few months without being given reassurance that you would be getting the $300?

You are lucky to have gotten back more than you paid, but he still scammed you.
