Again as a seller I see no reason to replace a DOA package without proof of it being so. In this situation now the original package was not confirmed DOA and the second package will surely arrive thanks to the good 'ol PO budget cuts and now he has his money back too! I think it's clear the seller did more than what was expected of him. I again think that a few of you need to put yourself in the sellers shoes. It is one thing when someone gets a DOA package and happily supplies the proof and thankfully accepts the replacement. It is very frustrating as a seller to have people jump to conclusions and start a "witch hunt" here on the BOI because of a postal situation that is out of your own control. The BOI is for others to read the facts between the buyer and seller so they can make an educated decision wether to purchase. Not a forum for people to be tried convicted and hung with no evidence.
100 percent, but from a buyer's perspective. It seems to me that often times buyers fall victim to the whole "witch hunt" that you refer. Witch hunt to me implies throwing around baseless accusations and gathering a lynch mob. Last time I checked I wasn't that one that did that. I only stated the facts.
