In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy DubiDeli - Live Arrival Guarantee??

With a delivery date of 22March2012, I'm curious why the seller was so sure they weren't going to receive the shipment at 2:11pm when the proir order showed around 420pm.

Sorry, I just read through your post and saw that you were referring to the email traffic.

To answer your question though, I was so sure on the 22nd that they would not be delivered because the mail had already for that day. I waited until the mail ran and no box came to email dubideli to inform them that for a 2nd day they had not arrived.

...I would have at least waited out the weekend before I drug both our names through the mud and would not have been so demanding if this was the case.

I contacted the post office prior to posting here and wouldn't have posted here had it not been for the post office admitting that the package was obviously lost, but that they woulkd look into the matter and have a definite answer to me on Monday.

For the record, when I received packages with this tracking info:

Delivery Confirmation™

It's always when I was not there to receive the package and it's usually sitting at my local post office. The post man leaves a little pink slip and I have to go out of my way and pick it up from the post office the next day.

I can assure you that someone was at home on the 21st, 22nd and 23rd for any attempted deliveries. Again, I refer to my previous statement that had it been a simple matter of me not being there to receive an attempted delivery don't you think the post office would annotate that on the status?

No they don't do it accurately.

Short story, the other day I was to receive a CO2 tank with delivery confirmation. I was sitting by the door when I heard my mailbox slot open and close ... no knock. I run to the door to find my little pink slip. It stated a failed delivery. I ran and chased the mailman down and told them I was there and he didn't even have my package on him. He said he would bring it back when he got in the truck. Never saw him again and the shipping status was updated to delivered after 6pm, well after my delivery time. The next day I had to go down to the PO and pick it up.

Well that sucks, but to answer your question directly, no, there was no attempted deliveries. No pink slips. Nothing.

Just trying to clarify here because now I am confused. Your now saying that you contacted the post office prior to posting here and that they said that your package seemed to be lost but that you would have to follow up on Monday? But I don't see anywhere earlier that you state this. In fact in your email (above) on the 23rd you said you would be calling the PO the 24th which was after you posted the BOI.

All along our point has been that we feel you should have waited until Monday so that the PO could be contacted by both parties and then if he for some reason refused your refund than post a BOI to settle it. So today is Monday have you any news from the Post Office?

Well I'm sorry....$20 bucks is what it costs for 1 out of my 3-4 meals a day not including snacks....get some financial aid and go back to college then....

Some of us can't live quite so high on the hog, and some of us don't have mommy and daddy buying nice hogs for us.

Your right I do not care how my sentence structure and grammer is on a forum

I see spelling isn't high on your list of things to care about either

I learned a log time ago that if you act and sound sharp, people will perceive you to be sharp, even if you really aren't. Conversely, if you act and sound like you wear a helmet and lick widows, people will think you do, even if you're really balancing the site construction of multiple jobs while still in high school

Yes I did contact the post office prior to posting here. I emailed dubideli saying that I'd call the post office, my local post office, the following day. Prior to posting here I had contacted the 1-800 number and was given a case #.

No news from the post office as of yet. I have called them to get a status update and was only told that they are looking into the problem and would get back in touch with me by close of business today.

It may never show for either of you. The last time I ordered roaches they made it all the way here and were never delivered nor returned to the seller. I think USPS might have beardeds working in the sort facility :D

To speak to this point, maybe you're right. Maybe I should have waited until today to post to the BOI. Perhaps I would have done exactly that had dubideli not basically accused me of lying when I told them that the package had not been delivered.

I know focal mentioned good faith earlier in a post, but I don't see how I was expected to maintain good faith in him refunding me when I was accused of lying before he even confirmed that the package had not been delivered.

When did he accuse you of lying?

He sent this email to me after I had emailed him stating that they had still not been delivered.

He sent this email to me after I had emailed him stating that they had still not been delivered.

I never called you a liar or even insinuated it. The package could have been left at your neighbors or even somewhere else but not to your house for instance. From above I said "Looks to have been" or "according to the information" I didn't say "It was delivered to you"

There is absolutely no delivery grantee on flat rate shipping. This is USPS policy. This is just the way it is.

We, Dubi Deli, never guaranteed you or anyone else a specific date on delivery, nor did the PO. We only tell you we will ship within 1-2 business days. That is it. The PO provides the expected delivery date as a convince to you. it is not a guarantee. I understand that are disappointed at this aspect of the service. We are working with the post office to address this aspect of our service. Nevertheless, there are still no guarantee on delivery dates.

Sincerely,
Rob
