    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Erik Stoops. Center for Reptile and Amphibian research bad guy so far.

Last year, the CFAR claimed to hatch the first clutch of Kofiau chondros... there was even a write up in Reptile magazine about it. On another python forum, I questioned it because they claimed this first clutch included maroon neonates... since then, many other folks have hatched kofiaus and ALL have been YELLOW neonates... NO maroons in 10+ other clutches. When I posted this info on the other forum, some jumped all over me about it... saying that I shouldn't be calling into question these "respected" breeders. I am laughing now.......
 
Red kofiaus, leucistic gilas, albino gilas, leucistic blue tongues, het. for albino chondros...there seems to be pattern here.

I have been in contact with a representative for Erik Stoops who sent me payment in full for the Bolens. I received it yesterday while I was out of town and am just now having the chance to post it.
Currently I have been paid as agreed and I no longer have any Outstanding issues with Erik Stoops Nor the center that he represents..
 
Wow good news Michael, glad they finally got around to taking care of the debt.. I guess this is how you recover debts owed by Eric IE make it public ... Randy

Now let us hope that the others ripped off by Erik Stoops aka Center for Reptile and Amphibian Research also get what they are due.

Making it right with one person helps but does not clear up the earned BAD GUY title.

I also hope that if by some miracle Erik Stoops aka Center for Reptile and Amphibian Research does make restitution to others that he stole from that they will add their statements to this thread.

i wonder if erik has a yellow streak down his back.. he had to have one of his minions contact michael and let him know he was getting refunded... couldnt do it himself and personally apologize for the troubles michael had to go thru..

what a shame, but at least michael got his money and that's whats important.
 
Congratulations! Glad it worked out for you! Sure hope everyone else gets taken care of as well. Then it will be over.

I don't think that dealers and breeders realize how many "lurkers" read these threads, but seldom comment. But we do watch, make purchasing decisions, and pass recommendations on to others, based on what we see here. So to all sellers, please take note of how you take care of customers and resolve issues, especially once they are brought to the BOI. We are quietly watching!
 
Michael I am glad that you finally got your money. It is unfortunate that you had to come to this board to get it. It is my opinion that after reading all of the posts it is obvious that anyone dealing with Eric Stoops had better use a great deal of caution and get the money up front.

Awesome that you actually got your money Michael. You know that would have never happened had you not posted this thread. Thankfully now people know to think twice before dealing with cfraud or whatever that 'organization' is called. I'm guessing Erik may be regretting his decision to try and rip you off after this thread....

You are right, he is a snake. I am an artist and me and other artist have done work with him and never been paid.
 
I hate to bring up an old thread like this, but i really think people should actively be aware of Erik Stoops AKA Erik Daniel Shein as he goes by now.

i had some personal dealings with this man before I knew of this thread, I have been to his home, seen his Collection.

While I am not out money, except for silly things do to my own generosity. This man is an expert liar, and will go to no end to put on one hell of a show..

hate to admit it but i followed along to this mans words for a long wile.


I will not publicly bash him other then what was said or go into detail of things. i have emails and other things but, I don't see a point posting them.


if you really MUST no Shoot me a PM , i will give the emails i do have and answer any questions i can about him.

just do your selves a favor and stay away from this guy, it appears he has recessed into the shadows again, deleting his Facebook, With the exception of https://www.facebook.com/pages/Arkwatch/174638819266624?sk=wall which is still ran by him from what i understand.


Don't be suprised if he pops up with a new name or some varient of his existing name. if you are dealing with someone that lives in cave creek AZ looking for shingle backs, rough scales, boelins, diamond pythons, green tree monitors or other high end reptiles avoid this guy.

ive seen his freezer of death as well claiming "they were all sick" when they arrived, diamond pythons, 4 shingle backs....couldn't figure out why the hell he would keep them..

bah i am going into too much detail....Becareful of this guy.
 
Yeah, he's all over the net as Erik Shein and Erik Stoops. Arkwatch is the newest baby, I guess.
 
its seems that no one understands this deflamation of character is when you see bugs bunny on fire you put him out that's deflamation of character how hard is that to understand lol:D
 
So here we are 13 years later. Erik has been seemingly soliciting 'investors' for movies that never happen. My aged parents have 'invested' tens of thousands of dollars without a contract for supposed Netflix riches that are coming 'next week' for years. I want to thank the administrators of this site for maintaining the forum as a source of information about his past history for us family members who are trying to deal with this.
