Gary, how can you say that someone communicating to the rightful owner saying she has her mouse, but won't turn it over even if the police come is in any way shape or form less than an unethical thief?
The organizer has stepped forward, from day 1, to try and do the right thing. She has contacted Stina and Casey to say that the mouse belongs to and needs to go to Stina. Probably it was only because the organizer stepped in that Casey admitted she had Stina's mouse in the first place. However even with this knowledge and with the rightful owner and police present, Casey refused to surrender the mouse.
Last you read, Casey offered to give the mouse to Stina,, yes, but that was stated as no earlier than next week, and she is still suggesting that Stina will have to make a second 12 hour round trip drive to claim what's rightfully hers. And do you feel given that Stina has already shown up asking for the mouse AFTER Casey admitted it belonged to Stina, that this time will be any different?
Oh and to continue speaking about the litter concern - As of tomorrow, the mice will have been in the country for 14 days. They were in the UK waiting to be shipped for 3 days. How long before those 17 days were the mice bred, since the gestation period is approximately 21 days? So when Casey says the earliest she can even think about getting Stina her mouse back is a week away... she needs to try harder to show she wants to relinquish this mouse.
