Just like I told you Lesser Platinums crossed to Mojaves will make a white snake at Bob Clark's facility when I was picking up a female G stripe back in 03 I think. Now what I suggest you do to further your inventive story here would be to quietly buy a real hidden gene woma, breed it, get babies from it, and claim they came from your normal woma female. Now that's thinking right there

I really do not want to give you any more attention, but I do want people who read this and may be newer to the hobby or confused to understand the point I made on comment #416.

Your entire basis for all this was your idea that there is no explanation for the NERD lineage of granite and the hg woma to be being inherited together to future generations.

I have provided an explanation in comment # 416 called genetic linkage.

The explanation is simply that genes become linked to each other when they sit next to each other or sit close enough to each other on a chromosome. It is a well known concept.

There ya go - a perfectly reasonable and simple explanation where you said no explanation exists.

Now that I think about it, it probably does not matter whether Joe responds to me or whether he does not. I would sort of prefer that some people who have an education in genetics respond to what I have said. I will look elsewhere rather than asking Joe what he thinks.

first off if you are a big breeder it is your business. As a business it is your sole source of income. If you produce something new and do not disclose how you made it, and or what else you have done with it, thats smart business sense. Now please do not confuse business sense with pure hobbist. This does not mean that the business does not love the hobby. If they did it would be a VERY trying life they lead. Now when you produce something new you HAVE to speculate what you have because you DO NOT know for sure. Now with good morals (business or hobbist) you have to make claims and assumptions. If you find that your claim was an assumption and it was proven wrong, be man enough to admit you were wrong.

When selling your product (snakes) make sure you have the "assumed" part stated. A product (snake) is worth exactly what someone is willing to pay. A rookie card is worth a said amount, then if autographed worth a lot more......that defacing makes it worth more, but how much depends on the buyer. A quality of snake also determines the price.

Now as far as calling people out and making claims.......have proof and bring it forward. The only people you hurt when making claims is yourself because you make yourself look stupid. If you run your business (hobby) the way it should be ran then you have no need to try and hurt other people. I see some guys on here looking at this thread right now that I have dealt with and some big names I have not. These guys have done some amazing things for the hobby, and if you talk to them they are really good people. If they screw you directly then make it public about your experience. The sad thing here is not only does it annoy a bunch of people but it hurts the morph in question and the hobby. People that do not have first hand experience and/or some TRUE knowledge save your comments and name calling.
