In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Inquiry BallBids.com?

Yes, but how many victims DIDN'T. call the police because of his actions in that month? We will never know.

I still think it was a crappy move.

Mark, you say it was for the fallen police families ... but you did get something out of it (money) yes?

If he wanted to make a point, he could have sued the murderer, not the victim. I don't give a :censored: if it was for a good cause, he damaged the out-look on the police force by suing a victim of a crime. Mark byers, is this the reason you left the force? Were you asked to leave?

Not that I expect you to answer. My bet is you are going to reguritate the same swill you have in your past two response to this information.

Karma will catch up with you one day.

I have nothing to say to you lady. Bother someone else. I have done a lot of things in my life and I most certainly do answer to you. Make what you want of it. It still wont sell snakes. But is does seem to be the par in this thread. I have nothing more to say about it. I know exactly what happened and why it happened and what the end result was. And I am not the only one happy with the end results.

So Mark, this is who Ballbids hires as their spokesperson. Marty, you do know it illegal to falsely accuse. It will be used against Ballbids since Marty represents them, you will be all be held accountable. It will be your downfall.

Sumner, you may ass well just go to the station now. Youll get no apology from me. Ive done nothing wrong, so im not worried. Ill be waiting

And... Ballbids business plan was to ensure all quality breeders benefit..that all had the opportunity to sell Morphs to Ballbids and to get the extensive exposure Ballbids can offer to help promote their web inventory on rotating basis.

unless I'm mistaken, Mike Wilbanks had originally supplied the first few animals up for auction, but decided he did not want his name associated with the company after the initial backlash. why the current secrecy behind the suppliers? if 'quality' breeders can benefit to the extent you claim, I'm sure they would appreciate the uptick in sales and web traffic. if, however, actual quality breeders like Mr. Wilbanks decide they do not want to be affiliated with your son's company, well then I can see the need for secrecy.

also, what ever happened to avi?

Aside form the initial dishonest banner ads, and the seemingly skeezy business plan the only real gripe anyone can make is that ballbids is rigging the auctions so that only people associated with ballbids actually wins, if anybody actually really wins.
But, nobody can prove that people arent winning these snakes. I've tried my hardest to search through and through this thread and nobody has been able to supply suficient information.

Its a penny auction site. If you buy bids and lose, you lose. Obviously thats how they make money.

Aside from seeming generally skeezy, I dont see how anyone can legitimately "bad guy" this company just based on their business model without any proof of any ACTUAL wrong doing.

I guess Im just confused. On the flip side, someone won a an albino ball python today $7.12 plus $35 shipping. If the live arrival gaurantee were worded in a manner that gave me more confiedence, I would probably try it out.

Perhaps your eyes were tired. I think it's impossible for the average person of average intelligence to read this thread and come to the conclusions you have mr. ritzer.

If you lie, cheat and steal, you're a liar, a cheater and a thief. Why would anyone smart enough to seal his velcro shoe straps want to do business with lairs, cheats and thieves?

I think maybe you should re-read the thread. Don't speed read it this time, actually read each word in each post and then see if you can't understand why so many people feel this particular group of liars cheats and thieves deserves no respect and no money from anyone who's honest. In other words, you don't even have to be smart enough to be able to tie your own shoes to know that ballbids and all associated with it are just bad people.

I have nothing more to say about it. I know exactly what happened and why it happened and what the end result was. And I am not the only one happy with the end results.

You seem to think we are too stupid to know what happened. We know what happened (we can read) and it does not make what you did right. Quite the opposite and greed wins out again. Acceptable collateral damage to you? It takes a special person to take advantage of a victim and use them for personal gain. One without morals, integrity or conscience.

Not to mention the players in this "business" have the morals of an alley cat.

They have been asked time again to provide at least one shread of proof that REAL people win their auctions. I for one would be mildly satisfied after talking to a winner that wasn't associated with ballbids.

Penny auctions are a rip off IMO, but if people are gullible enough to think they are going to win without a lot of money spent, that is their problem. You can't protect all the ignorant.

The fact that the "winners" & the "breeders" are un-named, reeks of dirty dealings. As does the fact that auction crash before there is a winner. Not one person has come here and said, "I got a healthy snake from ballbids."

You also have one individual linked to ballbids, lying and posting links he knows are not of his main adversary.
the father of one/the owner who seems to have a huge stake in the operation, who is well versed in double talk & avoidance.

If it wasn't for the animals, I wouldn't give a flying fig what they do. If people want to lose their money gambling, fine ... not my issue. My issue is this involves my community & live animals.

I want to say that I never have used ball bids and never will use ball bids. Doesnt interest me... But for the life of me I can not figure out why so many people care? Clearly some of these guys involved in the company deserve no respect, but that could be said for alot of people in our industry. What is so insanely wrong with them attempting this business? Most people would not even know about it if it wasnt for the haters of ballbids... So who has been ripped off? There have been how many auctions? 6? How many people in this thread bid on the auctions? How many people have come forward claiming they were ripped off? Seems the hate for this company is just over-the-top and it would be nice to put a name to the people that have come forward and were ripped off by this company so the witch hunt would at least feel deserved.

Tom, it's not about numbers, they probably won't ever have large numbers of snakes being sold.

It's about them being such bottom of the barrel business men. They have repeatedly lied, attempted to mislead, misrepresented and slung mud to cover themselves when they've been caught.

They're like the necrotic tip of a lizards tail. You know if you leave it alone it MIGHT fall off on its own, but it is also very possible that the rot will move up the tail and eventually kill the lizard through infection.

These guys are the necrotic tails in this tale and they're toxic. Many feel that this toxin if not removed will become more serious in the future.

That is correct. Mike is a smart young businessman who I believe saw the real potential benefit and recognized that this specific business model could have its place in the market. You can read his response on the forum from back in those days. He received emails from members that were heckling him for selling Zack snakes and telling him all of the false information that was intentionally fabricated about Ballbids.com by a certain few in the community. As a smart businessman, Mike chose to not be bothered with that issue and told Zack that he was not going to sell anymore snakes because of all of the controversy it was causing. Ballbids was having the initial script issues anyway which caused them to temporarily close for a few months until the entire script could be rebuilt by someone else. After reopening the company, Zack chose to ensure no other breeders could be placed in such a position because of the intentional lies of others. Ballbids has now run its course for a while and has proven its credibility, desirability, and like any website encompassing such dynamics, it has been working out the technology. USARK has recognized the lies and ill intentions of these certain others and commendably retracted their initial statements which were based on false information given to them by these certain few and this can be seen at: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=10150980614087724&id=93475517723.
Ballbids.com extensive and specific marketing campaign not only brings more people into the community for the needed expansion, it establishes significantly more awareness of the community itself. This specific marketing reach has helped to spark or re spark interest for the Ball Python Morph, as well as other reptile species. All of these factors increase sales and momentum within the industry as a whole. The fun and excitement of competitive bidding is a proven business model for people who enjoy this type of buying, and it is only common sense to know that those people who do not like this format would never buy bids, nor would they ever participate.
Unlike the auctions that people complain about hurting the market, Ballbids specific business design and sales and marketing platform cannot and will not ever decrease or determine market values. Ballbids.com is a completely different concept altogether.

Mark will you stop lieing. Its is getting old. It is well documented that USARK posted their view before any opposition of Ballbids. Saying that they were email with lies is just another lie by you to discredit. What about this. USARK is a not for profit organization. They can't support or not support a business.

Mark, understandably, since you accuse people of fabricating false information against BallBS, you are asked to supply proof of these allegations. Since you have none and have again twisted the reasoning behind breeders pulling out of your "company", that cannot be accomplished. As a result, your entire statement is based upon speculation and has no actual facts to support your comments. Therefore, you are just farting in the wind and hoping it smells better than it does now.

Unlike the auctions that people complain about hurting the market, Ballbids specific business design and sales and marketing platform cannot and will not ever decrease or determine market values. Ballbids.com is a completely different concept altogether.

Well, let me ask you about this statement, please. It appears to me that you are claiming that BallBids will not undermine the prices that breeders are trying to get for their animals because it is a "completely different concept altogether". Is that right? How so? What exactly is the main focus of the advertising of BallBids and the lure used to bring people to the site?

Let me give you a subtle hint directly from that site:

"SAVE UP TO 95% OFF MARKET VALUES!"

I don't believe that leaves much doubt about what the site is offering to prospective customers, now does it? Well, in case there is some doubt, again, let me offer a clue: LOW PRICES.

So, please explain to me how BallBids offering to be a provider of ball pythons (and I presume other merchandise) at a proclaimed 5 percent of actual retail value does not impact all of the other sellers of such products. Did not the person who won the last auction there who was interested in buying an albino ball python now have his or her incentive greatly reduced (or removed completely) from considering buying such an animal from an actual competing breeder? BallBids IS competing with other sellers, now isn't it? So please explain to me how BallBids advertising that buyers can get those same animals and merchandise from them at 95% off of their competitors prices is not going to hurt the business of those competing breeders. Didn't they just LOSE a potential sale? Yes, I do realize that whatever breeder sold that animal to BallBids does get paid their price, but that is not the point. The point is that BallBids appears to be competing against every breeder and seller of that same product yet offering the same merchandise at FAR LESS than market value. So tell me, how can that NOT eventually cause prices to drop across the board? The only way I can see that it would not hurt at least some breeders is if every one of them used BallBids SOLELY as their selling agent for their animals. Is that the goal of this business model? Seems to me that it would HAVE to be. Otherwise BallBids HAS to be competing against everyone who is NOT selling through them, drastically undercutting their competition's prices.

Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not faulting the penny auction business model itself, in general, nor BallBids' utilization of that model specifically, all I'm asking is for a clarification of the statement you made quoted above in relation to actual FACTS.

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

You are the most delusional human being I have ever seen smear drivel on the internet.

The only reason you picked ball pythons to create the website "ballbids" around was the $$$$ that was already being spent. I bet 90% of the ball python community has not even heard of your little website. Most of the 10% that has, know better than to visit it.

If you honestly think you are carrying the marketing weight of this industry on your back, I have a bridge to sell you, cheap.

Keep drinking your own koolaid bub, none of the rest of us are.

Forgive my lack of knowledge on forum function but is there any way I can stop getting email notifications about this thread, the 3rd grade drama is giving me a headache. Thank you.
