You know, Joe, that is a tough one. I think the ban is extreme, but I'd still ding you for misrepresenting the animal.

Forgot to mention before. I don't think I really misrepresented the animal. Again, its a 15 inch Leopard Female. And It was sold to me as a breeder, and a copy of the ad to prove it was sent to the BBB, Jeff, and his staff.

Here is the harsh reality Kingsnake is not a democracy, as I read it before in another post. Its Jeff's website and he just does what he wants. I tried everything I could to ask Jeff for help. Because I did value my KS membership. I even offered any assistance that could be of help. For whatever reason this time Jeff must have had a bad day at the office or in his personal life. But, it definitely was taken out on me. Simple fact is I just wanted to make everyone aware that Jeff continues to treat people the same way as I see old posts from 2003, 2004. He can't continue to get away with it. And if he continues his business will only suffer in the long run.

Please post the emails sent to Jeff and the ads from when you bought the tortoise. The emails to Jeff would prove if you were cordial or not. The ads would prove that you were wrongfully accused. I've been in a position where I thought this was unnecessary, but trust me, it's very necessary if you want to get your point across successfully.

I sold a well started Sri Lankan Star to gentlemen that did not know what he was doing. Its a long thread, but I remember everything. And to answer your question bluntly "NO" his complaint at the time to KS did not hold any water. In fact, after giving KS my emails back and forth with the person, Melody from KS, said my account was clear and had no infractions.

So yes, I was correct with the statement I made..... I had absolutely zero strikes against my account for the whole terms on KS!!!!!!!

Extremely self-serving interpretation of the other thread aside, how about some screenshots of your recent correspondance attempts? I'm not a big fan of copy/paste, so I'd rather see something undisputable. If you retained the degree of professionalism that you claim, I'd think it'd do a great deal to prove that your banning was unjust. I don't suppose you have anything to back up your claims regarding the previous incident, and how it was subsequently viewed and dismissed by a KS representative?

You are doing a lot of talking with no proof. Not BOI SOP, so I'd like to see your proof. Otherwise, I will have to dismiss your claim that you were polite & sent proof that the tort was sold to you as a proven breeder.

Not self serving, just self soothing once I realized and remembered that post which occurred 3 years ago. Maybe I could have you do some PI work for me and contact Jeff and report back with a undisputable reason I was banned. And yes, I will have all the emails and a copy of the ad. The old information is being transferred over to a new computer I just purchased. And yes, all of the emails were pleasant.

Let's face it, when I prove it to you and the rest of the people here... Then what? Then, you will agree " yeah, Joe got hosed...." Big deal...But, just because I prove it to you guys.. will it get my membership back. I think not....

Why did I bring the thread? Just to show a continuance of mistreatment on Kingsnake by Jeff Barringer. The people here know it. Most won't care... But eventually some will care. But... the truth of the matter is, if Jeff continues these bad business ethics, his business will certainly be affected in one way or another. Sooner or later, (hopefully this site) will surpass Kingsnake. Jeff absolutely hates this site! Because it is a threat... But, rest a sure...there will be other avenues....

Another thing. If anyone wanted to get back on KS, they can! Its easy. I can buy a membership tonight for 3 months under someone elses name and post my animals. In fact, many people do it that were banned already! If they got kicked off they open another account for $35/ 3 months... in a new name. No big deal...

For the record, I was merely complimenting Dan on his sluething skills. And my next comment was exactly the same thing everyone else has been asking you for.. So we can get an appropriate context of what your saying. No disrespect to you but Ive seen lots of people say they werent overly aggressive or rude in theyre communications and then they post them and its not exactly accurate. If you'll notice anything here in the BOI its that you'll get called out QUICKLY if you dont post anything to back up what you have to say. And since reputation is everything in this hobby, thats the way it should be here.

I never used KS simply because I feel it's ugly and poorly laid-out. If the injustice of the situation is as clear-cut as you imply, perhaps you'll help influence someone else to not hand over money to a website that treats their customers so poorly. Aside from the potential for community service, I'm not sure what you expected to get from this thread.

Joe, I don't know a whole lot about KS, as I've only scanned the classifieds there. I personally don't like the set up of the site. However, I do know about technology. Are you doing all of this from your phone, or an alternate computer? If you have access to the site, you have access to your email account. I would feel safe to assume that all of these emails are in your inbox/sent messages folders, as well as the ads if you sent those also. If you're doing it from an alternate computer, the screen shot or copy/paste functions should be basically the same. If doing it from a phone, most of them have a screen shot feature, or a copy/paste function. Most mobile browsers also have multiple window functions to flip between the two.

You seem to try and deflect every time someone asks for proof. This alone seems a little odd, and as if you're trying to hide something.

The beginning of that statement says you really have either no intention of proving anything, or you're afraid the people in here are going to pick your evidence to pieces.

What really bothers me though is the paragraph of this quote. Saying something last night really leads me to believe you are a bit underhanded, so it wouldn't surprise me if you haven't done so already. If I'm not mistaken Fauna has rules against doing just that type of thing, so I can only imagine KS does too.

I asked you for proof and you said it was impossible. There may be some complaints, perhaps your reticence may be due to the actions by KS being well founded and not any kind of mistreatment.

Too many people and pages that go with those threads.

You seem to be too indolent to take the time to offer proper proof.

That is why I am saying that it must have been a person Jeff was friend's with.

KS is known for having tough rules. I've never heard that it was a political machine where friends get treated differently, it appears that everyone is subject to the same rules.
