Resolution
I think the situation is now resolved. I did receive an e-mail from Andy with an apology and an offer for me to keep and treat the snakes. I accepted that and after reading the e-mail can see his side of this a little more. I am glad that what is best for the snakes is going to happen and I have an appointment tomorrow with my vet.
SusanG, I do not think you really are understanding what happened and I think you may have some problem with me anyway. I can accept that and wish you well. To answer your question I did have a situation 5 months ago where I broke my knee and was unable to care for my reptiles and tried to sell them. Thankfully, my wife (who does not like snakes) stepped it up and took care of my collection, even the rats.
Anyway, here is the e-mail from Andy and my response:

Scott,
I have seen the pics and like you I am sickened by them. These animals have been in a quarantine building since their arrival, supposedly under the care of some folks who worked for up until yesterday that is!
First of all, they should have never been shipped. Second of all, they were supposed to have been treated upon arrival for any parasites!
I apologize for any and all trouble involved with this transaction. My fault for allowing unsupervised employees to handle things in my absence.
The zip code was an error on our part also.
I apologize for my rudeness on the phone, but I had no idea what had actually transpired. I hope you can accept that.
As for the Tmors. They came from Ben Cooper @ Cooper's Exotics. He said they were CB. I didn't produce them.
Please feel free to keep the snakes. I'm sorry for the problems. It has been rectified by employee dismissal.
I hope this will satisfy your grievance .
Respectfully,
Andy

Andy,
Thank you for the reply. I can understand how this happened more
clearly because I did not know you had a large enough operation with
employees. I appreciate you getting back to me because the snakes
need to see a vet.
I will accept your offer of the snakes and promise that I will get the
snakes in to see a vet as soon as Dr. Hilla has an opening. As a
courtesy, I will send you a copy of the receipt showing that I am
being true to my word.
I also appreciate the apology and can accept that as well. It sounds
like we both want what is best for the snakes and I will do my best to
make sure that happens.
Sincerely,
Scott Bryan
