    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Hi,

Thanks for your interest, We need to learn more about their needs and nat history, as breeding success varies widely, and it is difficult to pinpoint what we are doing right or wrong. One group that I kept for 20+ years bred regularly, every 1-3 years, in a well-planted exhibit. At one point they ceased breeding; some of the animals were in their late teens (not sure if age could be a factor), but others were young adults. Another group ceased breeding when move to a larger exhibit...stress, settling in thought to be involved, but even after several years they have not resumed. Skin diseases remain a problem as well, with various treatments and water quality parameters seeming to work, and then not work, under similar circumstances. i had always hoped to do some field research, or find people involved in such, but that did not materialize. Sorry I could not offer a more specific answer..please keep me posted on your own thoughts and experiences, Best, Frank
