In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If the vet thinks she's healthy enough to ship, I'd glandly refund your purchase upon return of the snake. Of course, since you are dissatisfied with a healthy snake, I'd like for you to pay shipping.

Then there's all the accusations you've made...

Ok. I will ask tomorrow and I will pay shipping I said I would do that. When you get her back please write that there is something wrong with her because I am not a bad keeper :crying:

If the snake is sick, it didn't happen here. I won't give that up.

If the vet says she's okay to ship (I'd hate to think he'd recommend sending a dying snake across country), I'll gladly refund you.

You admitted to heating snakes to 120, force-feeding a snake who ate the day before, poor quarantine, and a myriad of other issues.

If she's sick, it didn't happen here (or, apparently, for 18 days or so after you got her and said she was fine).

I need you to give me your shipping address or to give it to paypal. I also need to get heat pads so I have to wait on that.

Rob has been a complete nightmare to deal with. After selling me a very ill snake refused to refund me and started a tread on fauna bad mouthing me. I have documentation from a vet in austin experienced in reptiles that the snake is very ill, and it is not my fault. I would never buy from him again. His snakes are terrible.

When did she get sick, Thomas? Was she sick 18 days after you got her? I've badmouthed you? You have doumentation? Experienced in reptiles?

What does that matter. Your taking her back. Lets just get the process started. I'm afarid she is going to die if we wait any longer.

Listen man. Your just making this worse for everyone. Everyone on line is all upset and so am I. I just want my money back, and I want you to take back the snake. I don't mean to bad guy you. I feel bad about that. I will write that you made good. I took the snake to the vet. :crying:

All I see are people upset... at you. The vet visit was so inconclusive that you might as well have not taken her. I am going to be very interested to see the vets response to this.

I am sorry but I would not refund his money. He is trying to pass blame on something he did. The snake obviously doesn't have IBD, and if it ate on the 22 which is 5 days ago, then you can't be saying it not eating unless you feed your snakes daily. My opinion as he made a mistake with the force feeding water and now wants a new snake to start over with. And trying to push another man reputation down.

I would like to know if you know how to properly ship a live animal? After reading this entire thread I'm going to go with no.

I already knew that. I am trying to do what you people want within reason. Rob said "please take the animal to the vet" So I did. Vet said it's breeders fault and animal should go back. So thats what I want to do.

Rob I need your shipping address. Your making this so difficult and embarrassing for both of us. I asked you to not even start a thread. Now everyone sees that it's actually your fault. But you started that so what can I do now.

For the umpteenth time, I'll be glad to take her back if she's healthy. If she's sick, it's due to negligence on your part.

Nice blackmail thread, btw. Keep insisting that I have sick snakes, and I'll fight you all the way.

Wait what??? I haven't read a single post that said it was Rob's fault. It's pretty obvious it's yours. Rob unless he has a letter from a qualified reptile vet saying the snake is healthy enough to be shipped, and he actually can ship a living animal I wouldn't take it back. Who knows what this animal has been exposed too.

yeah you're happy now because you pushed your way to a refund. You don't care how the snake got sick, that seems evident throught all these posts. I feel bad for that poor snake.

The snake arrived fine and as you said:
She ate for me twice fresh killed and then frozen thawed.

then weeks later it's -

It is buyers remorse but it is legitimate

I just want my money back, and I want you to take back the snake.

your motivation with this is very clear.

as for your shipping questions, there is a how to on SYR website as well as a Shipping Forum here on fauna. You were already warned earlier, so here's another - take it to the discussion forums.

very big of you Rob

I actually don't see where people see it is his fault. All I see is you trying to pass blame and imply he has sick snakes.

No, Thomas, this is what you said:

If the snake has IBD i would rather you not start a tread on fauna because that would be bad for both of our businesses. You should just do the right thing and refund the money and I will give you the snake back. It is within 30 days.

The snake does not have IBD.

I need your shipping address. It's not in my nature to blackmail anyone. I am a very kind person. I don't know what your snakes are. All i know is the one you sold me is messed up bad. She might not make it, but it's your loss. I will try. I am getting my money back anyway. email me your shipping address. I will try and keep her alive but she don't look good I just checked on her again.

No one thinks it is Robs fault. Have you read this thread? Everyone thinks it is a husbandry issue with you. The vet could've heard anything from you. As of right now you do not have documentation in your hand that it was a breeder issue. You can say the vet used to breed BPs, that does not make him the next coming of God who's word is gold.

Wait a minute. How many times did it eat for you?

I am absolutely ASTOUNDED that the possibility of a bad mouse has not and is not being explored further. I have personally experienced this very recently myself - in the past month I had to buy a couple of boxes of frozen mice from a chain store to hold me over until a feeder order was filled. Out of 8 mice, two snakes completely rejected the mice (snakes that even in shed have never refused meal) and another regurgitated their meal (again, one that has never, in the 7 years I've had him, had any feeding issues). It didn't happen with every snake and every mouse, which could also be why you have just one snake with the issue.
Given the circumstances (healthy until fed) I think it is utterly absurd that this hasn't been looked in to. Did your vet question this at all?
