    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Rob Hutchinson - laterob

Did you see the video I sent to your yahoo account?

She is in a 15quart steralite tub in my rack. 88 on one side 78 on the other. She has been eating very well up until what seems is her wobble got very severe. She seemed dehydrated so I soaked her, and with just a small about of aquarium air tubing tried to get some water in her mouth. She is holding her head sideways which is a sign of IBD. I would like to send her back, but I do have a very good vet I can take her too. I have been keeping ball pythons for 2 years now the only thing I had pop up was a minor scale rot .

What this man is doing is trying to do is to paint a picture like I am a bad keeper that hurt the snake in some way. In other forums he said he "believes" that. Instead of fixing his snake and refunding the money to save his reputation which i gave him the opportunity to do He decided to bad mouth me this forum. Very ignorant people are rallying to his side, and they don't even know the facts. Just watch the video of the snake and you will see that it's a bad specimen. The vet told me it should go back, and that is whats going to happen. I want him to refund me and stop this nonsense.

I haven't sold 1 snake so I don't have a reputation. I don't really have anything to loose. When I get some animals to sell that's a different story. By the time that happens nobody will remember this.
 
Your missing the point of the BOI. This site is indexed by google every minute due to its high traffic.

Search your name in google and the other thread will be first result. Or even so 5 years from now someone searches you when you do start selling, BOTH these threads will show up and will end up being bumped back to the top. Its happened to threads from 2004.

Only one being ignorant about this is you. The experience and years i have under my belt and many others disproving your theories should tell you something.
 
This thread is completely ridiculous.
I bought from Rob some months ago, a male Pied Ball. He was great to deal with.
I had an issue with the snake not wanting to eat, and when I brought it up with Rob he offered to take the snake back if I felt the need. That wasn't what I wanted to do, (he's a gorgeous animal by the way!! the rest of Rob's animals look just as stunning) but it takes a great seller to make that offer. I would buy from Rob again in a heartbeat.
This guy on the other hand, has done nothing but make himself look worse. He seems to care nothing for the well-being of the animal, rather he just wants his money back whether the snake dies or not...how cold hearted can you be???

Wow, I think this comment right here should extend you a foot in the ass out the front door of Fauna. You have no respect for the site, the members and most importantly, the reptiles that makes this community what it is. Go be a Craigslist seller, thats where you truly belong. You might think you will be a "Top 10 breeder" one day but I very seriously doubt you will ever get that far.

Rob's animals are not better then any body else's animals when they are healthy. Your missing the point of this. I got a bad one. Instead of rob doing the right thing he started a thread trying to make me look bad. He did not even know the facts before he did that. I am sure he feels stupid now. When you go to a vet and get documentation that the reptile has an issue it means something significant. Not eating is a common issue. Did you even watch the video? Prob not. Thats what im saying ignorants that don't know the facts. I am probably going to stay off fauna after this is over, and just work with my top 10 breeders. Better off that way.

You are so stupid to keep pushing the fact you took the snake to a under qualified bird vet. You might as well of went to PetCo or any local reptile store and asked everyones opinion at those location. I would love to see you stay on Craigslist with your "Top 10 backyard breeder" friends of yours.:NoNo::NoNo::NoNo:

What documentation for what issue? You claim you took her to a vet, and the vet told you to send the snake back to the breeder. He didn't even give a DIAGNOSIS...? (Yes, I did read the other thread and watch the video)
Go work with your "Top 10 breeders". You probably are better not associating with Fauna, as your reputation is in the garbage.

I've notified your academic advisor and am not stopping there. This is no game. Not only have you created problems with a good seller, a little critter seems to have come to harm while in your care.

That's good because today I will continue with more notifications. I feel as if the education community should be aware of who they have and what he has apparently done to a small defenseless critter.

I, and many others, make sure to even check the people we sell to before engaging in a transaction. I have had to turn away two buyers this year because of this same type of behavior. Thank god Rob outted this guy because he saved others and I tons of potential grief.

Right now, you have no clue as to the gravity of this situation, Thomas. You have ruined any future here or in this hobby and any chance at redemption is quickly disintegrating. Grow up and at least try to be humble :no01:

I already had issues with the way you kept flipping that snake over in the videos but I would take a good look in the mirror at your responses and attitude.

Rob has been very professional in his responses here you on the other hand have been calling breeders who have more experience that you morons.

Can you honestly say that nothing you have done has been questionable care and husbandry on your end?
 
Do you realize how many eyeballs are on this site daily? There's a reason this site is so active and huge - everyone comes here. Even if they're just lurking and enjoying the drama. Yeah, even your top ten guys from time to time.

Someone underestimates how small the ball python community really is. I had hoped that with a night to sleep on it, someone would come back here realizing what a mess he and he alone has made of this situation. Rob doesn't HAVE to do anything. There's no TOS police that are going to come get him if he tells you to pound sand after the way you've treated him. If he does do anything for you, it'll be because he wants to and not because he's continually being strongarmed into it. Your being abusive isn't making him feel any friendlier towards you. Do you really want that? I think you care on some level, because if it were just as simple as "I'm getting my money back one way or another", you wouldn't continue to argue with anyone. The ship is going down and the rat is panicking.

Regardless of what happens, your rep here is done. Buying OR selling. Oh sure, you'll find people here and there who don't know the BOI exists, but word spreads fast and the old timers have long memories for when you pop up again. These threads will be resurrected.

Your potential future buyers and sellers can see how can be expected to act when something goes wrong. They can also see your lack of experience when it comes to the accepted care department.

Better put in some new racks, you're going to be holding back a lot of babies.
 
This thread was amazingly useless and worthless. I think the only real hope the OP has in the distant future in this hobby is to change his name and never use the same IP address as right now, and sell to the ones who know nothing of snakes and/or the boi.
