In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It may be that Lynn is apologizing to the best of her abilities. It is possible that she was never taught the correct way to apologize, so in her mind she is being sincere, even though it doesn't come across that way.
So people will never understand human emotions that don't directly affect them. So, we should probably accept her apology, such as it is and let this thread die. Bobby has.

For what it's worth, I never got a screen shot of where I posted that I didn't want anyone to send hate mail but I do have the message I got from a friend who advised me that the post could start drama regardless of me asking for no hate mail. Here it is. I edited her name and photo out as she doesn't want to be part of this, but this is all the proof I've got that I never intended to send out hateful minions.
Believe me or don't, I don't mind either way at this point, but I just remembered that she had mentioned it in her message and thought it might help clear some things up.
I left the time and day of the message on there. I deleted the post about three minutes after this conversation took place.
I kind of don't want to post this, as I don't need things to start up again, but I stand by my word when I said that I didn't intend for any of this to start out negative, and this is literally all I have to prove it.
Believe me or don't, I don't mind either way at this point, but I just remembered that she had mentioned it in her message and thought it might help clear some things up.
I left the time and day of the message on there. I deleted the post about three minutes after this conversation took place.
I kind of don't want to post this, as I don't need things to start up again, but I stand by my word when I said that I didn't intend for any of this to start out negative, and this is literally all I have to prove it.

That is not a sincere apology. You put the responsibility on everyone (including the OP) but yourself. You started out "less than sincere" to use your own words. If the trademark thing was irrelevant, as you state, then why did you even start this drama. You state that you had no issues with the OP until he "started getting defensive". What did you expect him to do?
You have promised a couple of times to be done with this thread, yet here you are again. You ARE NOT going to get the last word. At this point you need to pack it in. You have went WAY past the point where a real apology can help you, but you might give it a try. Keep replying and keep this at the top of the BOI. Let me know how that works.

I havent been participating in this thread yet, but I have read it all. The only thing I wanted to say was that Lynn made a mistake. How she thought that posting that original message was a good idea in any way is beyond me, but she did it and she has apologized for it and it appears Bob accepted it.
Lynn, the reason people might feel you are insincere might be because it does appear you apologize with clarification. "Im sorry I did this, but this". A sincere apology is just an apology without restrictions and without being forced into it. Do I personally feel you have done that? Not at first, but now, yes I do feel you are sincerely sorry for the drama and the hurt done.
The only thing that bothers me about your apology to Bob is the part where you say "This is incredibly unprofessional on both our parts". YOU were the one that was wrong in the first place. He reacted the way he did because he was attacked. Whether it was your intention or not is moot at this point because he was in fact attacked because of what you did. So anyone in their right mind would have reacted the way he did or worse. For you to say you AND her were unprofessional is totally off base. This is where making an apology without restrictions comes into play. But you keep blaming others, like Bob, or your many many fans instead of just saying I was wrong, and leaving it at that.

This would mean more if it included your response to her message. For all we know you said something like "LOL I HOPE HE GETS LOTS OF HATE MAIL AND DIES IN A FIRE!"
Showing part of a communication is worse than not sharing it to begin with, in many cases. :\
You are not obligated to keep responding to this thread, as Bob has already publicly accepted your apology. Trying to undo the damage to your reputation may only end up making things worse.
