I sold an ambilobe cham to this buyer Joel wateres "naturalsunmiami" through chameleon forums. I know he has an account here also but do not remember his user name. Since chameleon forums does not have a BOI maybe I can save someone some money and trouble so here it goes.
After payment was received from him I shipped out next day air express through my local fedex like I have done numerous times. Well the next day comes and there was a delay in shipping on there part obviously so we are both freaked out and I tell the buyer there is nothing I can do to get this animal there on time if it was delayed but I will REFUND his money if the cham does not make it.
Well thank god I packed and insulated well because he made it and we were both relieved. The buyer Joel sent me a text later saying hes not eating and I replied its normal due to stress of shipping might take a few days.
Well to my surprise I get an email later that day saying he filed a paypal claim against me. I text him and he says sorry but he is having his friend who is a vet come to his house to perform a chiropractic maneuver on the chameleons leg because it was stiff and this along with the visit might cost him money.
I was pissed at this point but I knew where it was going I could tell he was just looking for money so I replied to the paypal claim and showed pics that he sent me of the cham alive and well at his house as well as the shady messages about his friend. He also tried to say I mislabeled the box which had big fluorecent writing live harmless animal and holes drilled all around and that was the reason for the fedex delay umm no, I already received a complete refund by fedex.
Well I WON the case, everything was dropped. You would think its done right??? Wrong, so then Joel wateres files a charge back with paypal about unauthorized transaction or something to that nature so he can try this way to get a refund. This guy is a complete dirtbag and fraud.
Anyway I know this was long sorry, but wanted to share my experience and inform everyone about this scum.
