I can answer that, seeing as I know his name from the corn snake forums, and he was known for having tequila sunrise projects for the last few years. He does breed corns.
To be honest, I kind of felt that was a flawed question to focus on as well, though. A guy in south Florida could aim for November hatchlings, I suppose. It isn't common, but it could happen. From my perspective, the most fishy part of this whole thing was your laid back attitude about being ripped off.
