As far as the topic of getting something from the vet, you are missing one key point, Mr Cantore. After a visit, what is typically given is essentially an itemized bill. If one wants/needs a more formal report -with details of the examination, diagnosis, etc - it must be requested...whether it is immediately available at the appointment depends on numerous factors; but one shouldn't assume that such a report isn't legitimate simply because the customer doesn't have it in hand when the subject is raised.

True but he had nothing at hand not even a receipt !!! thats fishy to Me wel Me all of all people would be the one to know I know his Turtle was healthy and hes lieing as the facts will show over time !

you people really think I would take all this time, to post if I wasn't done wrong. I do not want an other turtle or a refund from Keith. I just want people to be aware when dealing with Keith. As I said in my other thread I have all the paper work, copy of the vet bill, phone records, e-mails, shipping cotainer, shipping box. What I find very funny you people actually believe a vet is going to lie or false documments over a sick turtle. As I stated he never sent me the tracking # so I could track this animal. Keith why don't you post your e-mail you sent me with the tracking # Because there is no e-mail. O ya he did send me an e-mail it was about the Federal Law on selling a turtle under 4 inches was mine a pet or for research. Did you give me a phone call to see if the animal (turtle) arrived safely. No you don't care about the animals. Just about money to you. I find Keith's reaction pretty funny, last night he didn' even know me, when I called, now he comes out full force about me saying I am a lier and a scammer for a $200 turtle. Keith when you sent that turtle out.did you have any regard for the turtle or myself. Two months of water changes every day, medicating, feeding or force feeding when I had to, keeping the the rest of my collection safe and steril. The person that said I should be banned from this forum, your pretty funny also. Keith how does it feel, now you know how I felt for the last two months. All I have to say i started this thread to make sure no one else has to go through what I have been going through. And money lost, I know we all work hard for our money. By the way the turtle is still alive. I don't have the heart to put it down. When it does die I'll put in a deep freeze, save it for the future. I might have to prove my self. Oh if any of you out there don't believe. Order a turtle or any other animal from Keith I would be interested in hearing your thread. Thanks

John you've provided no proof other than he said she said nonsense... Soooo why dont you provided some actual evidence rather than that..... Emails, photos of the actual turtle, pic of the vet bill... You've yet to show anything

The pics with adresses are in above comments I took photos off the website and YES people Im telling you from Personal witnessing Vets do in fact do what Im saying I have Heard first hand from guys who get Bogus paperwork at the cost of pennies cause there friends with Vets !!! Vets are no diffrent from Doctors they are Humans also that make mistakes thats Why I didnt trust what John was telling me He said it as if hes going to go have his vet make paperwork up to say it was sick when he talked on the phone last night and thats why I told john that I will not accept what his vet has to say for that reason . But hey if He has something Lets see it like you all Asked !!

In every group of people, some are good, a few are bad. If you are saying you won't believe what a vet says because a few are unethical, then I could by that logic disbelieve anything you say because a few sellers are unethical.

While you are free to believe that some vets are unethical and some probably are, you seem to have proactively decided you will not believe John's vet and you do not even know him.

Additionally, apparently you have no TOS and you since won't believe a vet, how can future buyers be sure they will get taken care of if there are issues?

YES I do get busy from time to time and dont send tracking number what does that have to do with anything ?? I tell people if im busy hey if it doesnt show call me and ill dig out the tracking number I have always had few vehicles and leave them in and switch cars so yes dont always have them on me AND DOnt worry I dont really sell much to the Public John so its not gonna do me much harm you clearly just showed that this is what your intentions was to screw me not to prove your case so Nice try people are seeing through your Lies !! I clearly stated why I wont take his Vets words cause the way He worded it last night He said he will go to the vet and get Papers to prove it when I asked if he had them now he said no proof of vet papers but he can go get them !! No vet sends you home without even a reciept !! I proved My case here and My customers are always repeats so John proved he was just out to Bash My name without proof so Im done with this Childish man/John !!

This turtle was not sick as this man said hes raised them for 52 years so he knows better !! He claimed its shell was MOOSHY the day he got it and can be squished in his fingers it was so soft wich it was not had it been it would not be alive today to ship back to me !! any reputable Turtle guy would tell you that !!

That is what I was trying to point out.. a squishy shell in and of itself is not indicative that the turtle was actually sick. Anyone could squish a baby snapper in their fingers - their shells have a natural level of softness to them and they have practically no plastron..mostly exposed blubbery flesh. But, for people who are inexperienced with turtles they might mistakenly think that the softness was a sign of illness rather than natural.

I'm in no way taking any sides on this matter, just stating my opinion:

John, you have stated that you have proof. Vet bills, emails, and etc... Well in my experiences in life, people who claim to have proof and refrain from posting/sharing the evidence, have always turned out to be lying. If you were defending yourself in a court of law and were going to be incarcerated for life, I can guarantee if you said you had proof, you would show it instantly. Most people who would be telling the truth would put the evidence out on the table for all to see.

Your lack of presence also makes me question your validity. Why is it that after making a bad guy claim, you are not here posting the evidence, defending your side. What is the sense of making a bad guy claim when most will read through and see no substantial evidence as to why he is a bad guy? And as previously stated... Why not just put up or shut up? It's as black and white as that.

Keith, I read through your other BOI as well, and what I get from you is a very arrogant attitude. Honestly through the way you have conducted yourself within the 2 threads... I would never buy a thing from you. You have no TOS, which is horrible business practice in my opinion because it seems like the customer will always be at fault. You did say if he came to you after a day or two you would have been fine with replacing or something along those lines so I guess that is somewhat commendable. You also stated that you get busy and don't send tracking numbers??!? I'm sorry but that is just idiotic, it takes seconds to a few minutes tops to provide someone with a tracking number... If this is your business, why would you not take the time to provide the customer with everything. What if the shipment ended up stuck somewhere? What if the animal died because of it being stuck somewhere? What if the animal was stuck within driving distance and could have been potentially saved? All these hypothetical scenarios are avoidable by a tracking number. Now obviously I do not know you, but if I were you I would set up a solid terms of service, I would stop arguing with everything someone posts, and if you have all the evidence that would prove your innocence, then post it, sit back and let people be the judge.

I understand your frustration in the case that you are just being falsely accused, but the way it was handled could have been better. Just my 2 cents... Take it to heart if you want, that's up to you.

Yes but John claims to have 52 years experiance with snappers and on teh phone claimed that it was MOOSHY as in a problem and I told him well if your turtle is Mooshy now theres no way it was when I sent it to you cause it wouldve been dead by now . a Snapper that is Moosh means its Metabolical bone disease and it dies extremly fast once you notice it Abnormally soft its dead in days I know I have around a thousand snappers a year go through my hands of mostly deformitys and hypos and pastels and albinos

I stated when I dont send tracking number the reason why and that if they have a problem to call me and I would go out of my way to go get the tracking number !! you mustve missed that part but yes I understand all of that and TOS where would I post that I do not have a website and Im not a business Im a hobbiest !! My customers all know MY TOS as we discuse it . WHATS a typed TOS stand for ????? Im not being a smart ass saying this but do you remember the Movie Tommy boy when they discuss teh Guarentee on the BOX ??? its only as good as the paper its written on useless I can type and you can type any thing we want for TOS or guarentees but it comes down to are Morals and Conducting of deals wich I have done thousands of Deals over the last 20 years with 2 guys bad mouthing me here on BOI so yea I do get lil hot headed but Im not Arrogant at all I Tell the truth in very harsh ways sometimes but hey Truth hurts !! .

OP did not provide evidence to back his claims; seller's background/history provides enough serious evidence to question his integrity, his honesty and his concern for the animals he passes off.

Both go on the don't sell to, don't buy from list.
