• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.
  • Responding to email notices you receive.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Why is everyone so upset that Ian wasn't at the meeting or reptile show? Who wants to be around this guy anyway? The less that he interacts with other people in the hobby, the better!

I agree, its just humorous to me to watch his cowardice exposed full force lol.
 
Warning: those types of 'funny' posts (memes, pics, links) etc, that really don't add pertinent info to the thread haven't been allowed in a while now. Please do not continue.
 
I know this has nothing to do with the stolen snakes, but it does point to his mentality. hey, if trespassing is ok, then stealing snakes is no biggie!

I'm sorry for the lack of updates, guys. Here is what I can tell you:

-I still want my snakes back. All my best efforts will be aimed at this happening in one way or another.

-I have the retained the services of an excellent lawyer.

These things take time. As much as I wish it were a quicker process and that justice could be served swiftly, it seems that patience will pay off. I still despair that the KHS has chosen this individual to be a representative for the group, particularly (as some one kindly pointed out above) as he seems to have such a high respect for rules in general. It is this kind of behavior that will no doubt serve the herp community poorly.

But, I digress. I wish I was able to report more, but time will tell.
 
All Ian is doing is prolonging the inevitable. Forget the KHS. They seem more interested in themselves than helping out someone who has been wronged by one of their officers. As long as things like this don't happen on club time then they just ignore it.

Keep us posted, and we all know that you will make the right decisions in this matter!
