    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Boy this thread is a train wreck. Any news on it, Ed? That does seem very unprofessional, not listing the address and telephone.

My two cents is, I wouldn't go near either OP or Anthony. Regardless of pressure or being fed up or whatever excuse, there wasn't a reason to fly off the handle to the point of insulting the owner of the forum and peacocking about with his "#3 gecko breeder" nonsense was in pretty poor taste imo.
 
Either the OP invented a fake "cease and desist" letter to give him an excuse to run off with his tail between his legs (and make an attempt to get this thread where he made himself look foolish and got his multiple accounts discovered deleted), or Anthony actually had a lawyer send him a real "cease and desist" letter, which has caused the OP to run off with his tail between his legs. Either way, good riddance....

FWIW, though, it wasn't even the taunt that preceded Rich's comment that did him in. I didn't even see that until he was gone, as I banned him from his profile (not the thread). The ban went through while Rich was typing, and Rich's post went through while I was reading.

The reason he was banned is that, as my earlier posts in this thread suggest, I believe that he is the same John Moore that has an existing account here: darksidereptiles. He insisted that he wasn't - while it might be possible that there was another John Moore from Northville, NY that moved to FL then returned to NY, it's pretty unlikely. Given that the darkside account had been dormant for 2 yrs, it is conceivable that he forgot his username or password...and that he could no longer access the email to use the password retrieval system; but he chose to deny, deny, deny. I was in contact with him fairly early on, and he either had very poor reading comprehension or was making sport of things. I believed the latter.
In any event, he was twice offered the option of proving that he wasn't "the other John Moore" by sending me a copy of his ID - the first time was totally unofficial, the second time he wasn't offered a choice.
His ban was only for a month, and prompted by one of his PM responses - I reposted the email address in the thread, to give him yet another chance to prove himself. I will be making the ban permanent as soon as I submit this post.

I don't know if there is any truth to the claims he made in this thread regarding his experience with ajc; and his ban should not be interpreted in any way other than as I have described above.

But yeah, the OP was dumb to not answer you or your requests...he knew he was in hot water and just decided to go down with the ship. Oh well...
 
Oh, he answered... that's why he's banned.

BTW - my post, "That wasn't very bright", was directed at the OP for telling me to ban him or stay on topic; Not at Rich's post that was submitted while I was reading.
 
I know this is an old post. But, I just stumbled upon it. I recently did business with AC reptiles and have only great things to say. AC reptiles was very professional and always responded to my emails. I received my 3 crested geckos from him a week ago (during the winter) and they arrived on time with no issues at all. Just wanted to throw in my great experience with them. Chad
