Think closely about what you are accomplishing. Have you ever heard of a successful business or breeder that goes on a vengeful streak? Usually they shut their mouths, get their act together and resolve the issue and apologize. Even if they don't mean it. That's how you run a successful operation. It seems like common sense to me . Instead, you choose to gloat and revel in harassment of a member. I know you feel some sort of weird self-righteous fulfillment, but it's pretty pathetic to the rest of us and will be clear to your informed customers.

The funny thing is in all of this, you could have just done the right thing in the first place and had this over with. This is abundantly clear. Seeing you make the same mistakes over and over without learning a single thing or admitting a shred of responsibility is frustrating and nears the definition of insanity.

When it becomes public knowledge that they had a die off and a disease was suspected and they continued to sell animals they HAVE been called out in the past.
Do a search on here. You will see others having a spotlight on them for issues.
Mindy, you are too young to remember Top Shelf Exotics and how they were one of the good guys in the industry but when they screwed customers, they got called out and hammered on the BOI. They were one of the "big guys" and still exposed for what they were. No one is singled out. Big guys, little guys, they all end up on the BOI when they jeopardize the hobby.

So if i never told anyone about my one dead snake this wouldnt be happening and nobody would know? Yep. Makes me wonder how many of the "big breeders" have deaths and don't mention them. Probably at least 25% of them. That's a good educated guess seeing how easily it is to have BPs get stressed and die or get sick from being compromised even slightly. How many big breeders never mention having RIs or mites? I know one of the top five people in the country who sell sick snakes on the regular that end up dying. Its all over BOI. But forgotten about in a day or two and that person still keeps on going. But no, you aren't singling me out. LOL

Everyone can have a snake die. Your snake died and you said that the breeder had their whole collection wiped out from a highly contagious disease. Big difference.

It's been a long thread, just thought I'd refresh plus reprint the great overview by Jen Harrison.

She never had a necropsy or any testing done herself, so it could have been any number of other known viruses like PMV or BPNV, or just a random fluke. No way to know. She continued buying and selling animals immediately after, often mixing them together for pics (including the snake housed with the suspected IBD snake), thus no quarantine whatsoever. Mindy then admits that 2 of the boas she sold in that timeframe died in their owners' care -- one in less than a month of its arrival, the other in less than a WEEK. She claims one died from overheating, the other died from organ failure caused by "being fed weekly". Both are suspicious at best, and a coincidence that they both came from her. Then a third snake in her care, at her "store", almost died from extreme weight loss. NOW she's looking to sell off her entire collection. On top of that, she repeatedly deletes/bans/blocks anyone on Facebook that contradicts or questions her, refuses to listen to or acknowledge hobbyists with far more knowledge and experience than her that have tried to get through to her, and deletes/hides every last shred of evidence on her Instagram and her Facebook profile once it is questioned...which is kinda sketchy.

Given all of the above, I feel that warrants an FYI to potential buyers, so that people can read the information themselves and make an educated decision before buying her animals, and if they do, at least be aware that they should be strictly quarantined to err on the side of caution.

If you've made one thing abundantly clear, it's that you obviously think waaayyyyyy too highly of yourself and just how "educated" you are on the subject of herpetoculture; or life in general. Maybe when you grow up, you'll come to know enough to realize that you currently know next to nothing. Sadly, with the way you're going about this, your youthful faults and indiscretions may end up digging you a hole that you'll never climb out of - no matter how much you may eventually learn.
