Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Sam, I'm sure you're happy ignoring all the inconsistencies and red flags that are still present here, just as you were ignoring the red flags for an obvious scam the first time around. The rest of us will continue to press for answers to the unresolved questions and attempt to get to the heart of the matter.

I am glad you got your money back, but I'm sorry you don't see what we could see in the original scam ads, or seem to care about protecting yourself or others.

You can ignore that this has the potential to lead to others falling to similar scams if the source has been incorrectly attributed. I choose not to ignore that.

Sam has said he will not share further and acknowledged that he would withhold regardless of a negative impact that withholding could have on another innocent party. That is a shame and that is his choice. I need not "get off it" just because you decide I should and, while I am pleased that he received the money order, I can choose to express my disappointment at the selfishness that has followed.

Since when does the act of making a statement automatically make said statement the absolute truth? The names and address have been posted, phone numbers too, All of which you can call and speak to people. You want more information? Call and ask those questions directly. Everything that I know of, that I believe sam knows, is right here, posted.

Hell, why didn't we think of that!? Damn, after all this effort being put into finding facts, all we ever had to do was call the scammers and ask them questions. They wouldn't lie to us, would they? :rolleyes: Yeah..and I'm the one that's going off "half cocked"...

WELL Since now you have just presented the entire underlying point of what my stance is, maybe now you will kindly go torture your privates.

This is what is known. If its not true, and ROBERT KNOWS DIFFERENTLY then waiting to post it is just ridiculous. If he realizes a different truth to all of this, he has not shared it with us. Just alluding to it. So? Ask Robert.

You really are a dunce, Moo. Your point is that you have no point, except for your comical little emo rage. Scott was directly involved with the situation - not Robert - so your attitude is hilariously misdirected. Oh, I forget, since Scott already came and posted his conflicted information, I guess that should just end it.

If there are things happening in the background and not being shared yet, there's probably a valid reason for that. They don't yet change anything; nor do they negate the need for others to include their own verifiable information. "Scott/Sam said so" is neither intrinsically factual nor verifiable as absolute fact. What part of that code are you having trouble cracking?

Like they said why not just call and ask them all yourselves I happen to know these people in one way or another and I have been reading this whole thread and a lot of it is self explanatory. But it is all about who you know. Like this one it seems. I may seem out of place for posting here but I mean why are some issues dropped quick if it's a personal friend to people on the board, like a lot of these threads a lot of picking and choosing no?

If thats the case then why the heck does it matter anymore if either one ever posts again? We only have what was given to us. If others know differently then it should be posted. Nothing more to give.

This thread was started because a buying party paid a selling party for a particular pair of sulcata tortoises and then delivery had not yet happened in a reasonable time frame and communication dropped off. This information can be seen by anyone possessing the desire to read the first post in the thread.

Let me preface this by first saying "Dee dee dee" to set the stage for how incredibly stupid you look. As far as I'm concerned, Sam can go keep you company, pounding sand. Scott, however, could choose to provide information what would be very helpful. Thus far, he's chosen not to. Simply choosing to corroborate his statements with the specifics I'd already asked for would do a great deal in clearing his name...IF he's not directly involved with the scam. Pretty simple, if you have the capacity to actually think about it. Thanks for playing, though. :wavey:

Sad thing is that the original OP still hasn't been made whole nor, I believe, does the original OP know who the true scam artist is. Smh
