My dealings with Dan Krull have been very positive. I find him to have a nature that is helpful and giving. As a certified Master Naturalist Volunteer, I appreciate Dan Krull volunteering his time as an instructor for the Missouri Master Naturalist program. And doing so for no pay. There has simply been countless times Dan has volunteered himself as a speaker and presenter for important non profit conservation programs. You probably won't hear about this because programs like the Master Naturalist and others are low profile. They are important none the less.
He has also spent time, energy, and talent on several video projects. I know he linked a couple, but there are more. A couple he did not mention is when he selflessly produced 2 add type videos to promote products for JKR gear. He never asked to be paid for these.
Now, has Mr. Krull made the best decisions around money? Maybe not when you start looking at all the work he has done for free. If I told him to start charging for some of his work, it would likely fall on deaf ears. But...painting the man as evil simply does not fit his character.
I recently inquired about a hog from Dan. When we spoke he passionately told me a story about who produced the father of the hog I wanted. What I cared about was making sure it was eating frozen thawed, and although I don't remember the story he told...it was fun hearing his excitement about the animal.
