    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Actually, Nothing gets censored on the BOI. Sounds to me like something didn't go your way. Instead of calling names, which by the way, you seem very good at, how about bringing your problem out in the open. You probably will not, but after reading your rant, most may not be interested anyway. As a last thought, you speak about judging. Didn't you just do that with your post? Now you can go on and crawl back under your rock.

Nah. All things considered, perhaps such an advocate as we see here is not going to be all that flattering to them as being a supporter of that site. I don't have anything against TRR, but the BOI is really not the place for such promotion. But be that as it may, I don't see that it warrants being deleted just because it is not appreciated in this context. Maybe this is indicative of something else that needs to be aired concerning THIS site and ME.

Apparently the originator of this thread has some issues, so perhaps she can articulate a little better what exactly those are.

As best I can recollect, they have never been an advertiser or contributor here, and from what I can see in the 10 years that LLL Reptile has been a member on this site, they only made 16 posts all total. So yeah, that would make them very influential to me, I suppose. :rolleyes:

And what is it that I censor? Oh, profanity? Well, if that is your thing, sorry, it it not mine, and I don't want it here. Deal with it or go elsewhere. I don't have any qualms at all about anyone being placed in the position of having to make that choice.

So? I also have Google ads running here that can really display anything at all. If someone wishes to pay for ads that originate from my FaunaAds.com website, as long as they pay for them, and they are not especially offensive, more power to them. You have issues with that philosophy? Tough on you, I guess. Please show me anywhere that I have stated that all ads MUST be related to herptiles? Desperate? No, just not quite as abusively discriminatory as likely you are about subjects outside of your own sphere of interest.

As for the site being a dinosaur, well maybe. But so far it's still alive and well. All forum sites are pretty much taking a hit lately, and this site is no different. But then again, I don't think that issue is where your concern originates from, now is it? So why not just tell us specifically what is on your mind instead of just beating around the bush with your nonsensical ravings? This has to be the dumbest thread I have ever seen on Fauna. To the OP - I GUARANTEE Rich does not pull posts about us, and does not care about us in any way, shape or form. To prove the point, a thread about 12 years ago had someone calling the owner's wife a hooker. That was straight class. It still exists in archives to my knowledge. We ship and sell a LOT of reptiles, so for the 99% that are very happy, there are some situations that don't work out. Maybe you were one of them, but there has got to be a better, more mature way to handle your issues than this pathetic attempt to slander this board. Heck - email me personally and go on a rant. I am happy to listen, as we do our best to help every single situation, even when the buyer is out of line.

I don't care much for this website. I think it brings out too much negative in an industry that could stand a little unity in times of changing laws. For the few scammers it does help prevent a buyer from, it does more harm than good IMO to some very good names out there. Not sure how Rich would be up in our hoo-ha with that opinion in mind.

That being said, I repeat, this has to be the dumbest waste of time thread I have ever seen posted on this site involving us (and there have been some doozies before!). The OP should apologize directly to Rich for being flat out, 100% wrong. We don't advertise here. Rich has never seen a dime of LLL's money. To be fair, Rich did purchase a bag of Sani Chips one time years ago. That must have been it... All I can say is LOL. Move on and go troll elsewhere.

I seriously doubt that TheReptileReport.com is behind this travesty. There are some good people there in my opinion, and I can't see them orchestrating a thread such as this one. Besides which, their format is different so they really are not competition and don't need to spam this site.

LOL, this was put on my radar today. We don't have anything to do with it.

It is an odd and out of the blue thread, especially the part about LLL. That really cracked me up. If I see "LLL Reptiles" on the BOI, I usually expect someone is ranting about an issue. I know how important customer service is to Scott and Loren, so I know they get frustrated when someone doesn't give them an opportunity to address an issue, or make it right. "LLL" is just a funny default insert for that "you love LLL" statement : )

Perhaps it is started by one of the gazillion new "BOI" groups from Facebook?
 
I'm sure the OP is someone who was banned recently for accumulating too many infraction points.

This is the most unbiased site I have come across, so to say that Rich is unethical and shows favoritism to any business is laughable.
