• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ember gecko....

So maybe some of this has been misunderstanding only based on I can't find any sent emails to James so I think that clears that up

An Ember Glow is clearly posted on our site as an Ember X Sunglow Cross. I received an email from Nikki Coe today to resolve this issue. Whether she wants to resolve this issue or not is up to her.

I will say a large part of her comments on this thread are fictional at best.

This will be my last post on this thread. I am always available to my customers to resolve any issue regarding a animal we sell. But first they do actually need to contact us and not pretend they did. Secondly, not 3 months later.

James, I allow my customers to contact me at any point after purchase nothing I said is fictional. But thank you for calling me a liar. I am sorry that this is upsetting you and I apologized for the miss understanding on the emails however I would like to resolve this issue I just don't want your geckos in my breeding group any more.

Our Embers and Ember Glows are based on Tremper Albinos not Murphy Patternless.

An ember is the simultaneous homozygous expression of the Tremper albino trait, the Murphy's patternless trait, and the eclipse trait. All three. All homozygous. At once.

Always has been. Always will be.

If you are saying your "embers" are not based on Murphy's patternless, that may make for one really bumpy ride.

This is a copy from Garrick's site when he developed the Ember:

Genetics: Triple Recessive (Raptor x Patternless x Tremper Albino)

The Ember Leopard Gecko is a Raptor Patternless Albino. We bred our original raptor male to several Tremper Patternless Albino females. The babies came out banded Tremper Albinos that were double het for the Patternless and Raptor genes. We bred those to each other and produced a very small number of Tremper Patternless Albinos with pure red Raptor eyes! These will be available in extremely limited numbers in the Summer of 2008.

And yes, he calls his murphy patternless "patternless". It doesn't make it something different. It's just how he had them labeled. His MP were labeled just patternless.

I bought an Ember from Garrick years ago at a show. He also sold me a MP het raptor at the time to go with it. My ember was a murphy patternless raptor (tremper eclipse).

Agreed with Kristi (in case that is not already obvious).

I had embers among my main projects back when I was into leopard geckos and there should be no mistaking the genetics involved. Especially when a name has been coined for a particular combo for quite a few years as it is with embers.

So I am not outlandish in thinking that if I got a emberglow i could breed it to my ember? ....

. The animal had a week and a half to adjust before being introduced to my ember female long enough to pair.

So an emberglow is a tremper het eclipse and het murphy patternless?

It does appear to be, by what James was stating, that his Emberglows are het/s.

But wait .....

Our Embers and Ember Glows are based on Tremper Albinos not Murphy Patternless.

Here it looks like, by what James is stating, that true Embers are not even what he has/breeds!
Using the name, that belongs to one morph, as the same for a different morph. What a mess.

So I am not outlandish in thinking that if I got a emberglow i could breed it to my ember? ....

I wouldn't think so.
If I purchased a Leo, with Ember as its name or part of its name, I would expect it to have, at the very least, Murphy Patternless in it (plus the other Ember genes).

So would it be wrong to keep showing others this story to inform them of the misleading information?
