    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Mike Matson of Mike's Phat Frog is a scammer !!

I will say that I have no idea who Mike is, nor do I really care. When I look at BOI's I tend to take them as a case by case basis. If there was a BOI for Walmart it would be a mile long, yet we still shop there. I just personally felt like this situation was handled badly by the seller, when the buyer attempted to make it right. There are dozens of other BOI's where the buyer would have just said these are my frogs, good luck getting them back. Or gave a run around for months on end trying to escape paying. At least Mike was honest about his situation from what we can tell, and tried to do what he considered best in the situation.
 
Mike, I am offering you a personal invitation to come here and discuss the matter. Like I already asked you via PM, when will you be here? I invite anyone else who has a beef with Mike to come to this meeting as well. We have an Expo coming up next month, why don't go ahead and come on down. You know where my family lives, you said you were going to come to my 84-year-old father's shop, he's not afraid to meet you in person either. The invitation is wide open.

I have been notified from another individual across the country from me that they also had WTFs from the same batch as the ones you sold me. They also were sent extremely thin and unresponsive, they also died. Contact was attempted with you but there was no apparent caring on your part. So your statement to me that there was no issue with the frogs from that batch, which you said were shipped all across the country, has been proven false.

I told you that the vet talked with me as well that day and explained that there is no conclusive test that will pin point where the chytrid originated from, clearing that up, which means that you also have unsubstantiated claims that it came from here. My frogs are all still alive and well, and it has been 3 months since I brought your , now dead,frogs home. You also told me you had NO sick animals at your facility, and yet the pic of dead and dying tads and froglets, and bacteria ridden Pacs, that you shared with Rick was right in the same time frame as when I had my dealings with you. You told me you have no issues there, and therefore no reason to test. That's been proven false.

As to the "can of worms", I notice you are using it to redirect away from the issue at hand, which is that you have failed to pay $2,250 to Rick for goods received, and are now threatening to ship unwanted frogs to him which have been potentially exposed to disease at your facility. This case is a double edged sword... #1. Possession is 9/10ths of the law, ymeaning you own the frogs and Rick has no obligation to take them back, but #2. You also have unpaid for merchandise, meaning you are also in the possession of stolen goods.

In fairness, Mike may have matured; though it doesn't seem like the other side is all that far away.
As far as how this was handled - obviously there are issues on both ends...and, in other circumstances, simply returning the animals would likely be seen as a reasonable option.

I think I saw speculation that Mike had already bred the frogs - obviously, only Mike knows the answer to that, and obviously he'd deny it regardless (as he already has, saying they were too small); but it would certainly explain his willingness to just send them back. Of course, that is nothing more than acknowledging the idea & giving it some credibility from my own perspective (which has become rather jaded over the years) - in other words, it is not an accusation.

Mike Matson if you choose to call my neighbors leasing agency they are well aware of the situation you are trying to initiate and they are gladly expecting your call so that they can call the police and start a case against you for harassment. Mike had until June 18th to pay which was a MONTH (Pay attention here Elijah and read it real slow please or have someone read it you so maybe you can understand) AFTER I sent the frogs to 14376 Mc Art Road Victorville CA. When I (AS IN RICK) contacted Mike 9 DAYS LATER Is when the excuses started. At this point MIKE ASKED ME FOR AN EXTENSION #1 (with $o of $2,250 sent yet) of 2-3 weeks , WHICH I (RICK) GLADY GAVE HIM. Mike never called me , so I texted him 2 1/2 weeks later to see if we were good for payment . Mike said it will be 3 more weeks AT LEAST for him to have any money to pay me . I told Mike I would give him 1 MORE WEEK ( Extension # 2 with $0 of $2250 paid) lawyer and here we are. So you see if you can read that should be clear enough for you to understand.

Next up Mike , all the incorrect residence threats have resulted in the question to arise , Do The Pavilion apartments in Victorville know you have reptiles shipped to you at your residence and possibly have reptiles at home when it is in fact against your complex rules ? They might tomorrow if they happen to stop by. Good luck with that :D

Let your buddy Zach keep leading you blindly with erroneous info in your messages here and probably still on facebook. He better not admit to using someone else's profile though cause his Domestic battery charges might start to get him known a bit better to the gecko community than his hate for someone he's never spoken to nor dealt with :shrug01:

Rick the Stupidity is strong in you. You wouldn't be in this situation if you had read and followed your OWN TOS. it doesn't matter how much extra time you gave him to pay, YOU basically sent him free animals. You actually did the one thing any smart breeder wouldn't do and you think your bright lol. What you should do is change your TOS. Put down I'm the only reptile breeder that will send you animals before receiving payment, you can pay me later. You'll be the #1 sucker for all scammers to go to lol. Remember my name is Elijah not stupid, sorry I ment Rick!

You sure accepted paypal from me when I originally bought these frogs from you almost a year ago. Why not now? Wouldn't have something to do with your PayPal(s) not working would it ?

I'm sorry. My paypal is no longer being used to buy animals. I will not wire transfer anything.

Only way is by certified mail. You must also sign for it.

So, again I will need your address.
