    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Avangel Reptiles- parasitic reptiles, and more

I run a Facebook group Called Ban Hammer Leopard Gecko. I have a fantastic little group filled with members. One of the members today posted this she had received her 10 geckos. Followed by a post about them having diarrhea. I messaged her about it, and upon further talkibg with her it sounded more and more like Chaz. I messaged Julia, to see if she had. P.O. Box number on him and nothing. I noticed in the email that Emily Van Beek shared with me that it had a hyperlink in it. I took off the info that showed the invoice and it led me straight to Avangel Reptiles. Emily is posting right after me. So she will go more into depth at what is going on. Everyone be aware he is now using new names to sell hos stock!

Last week I had thought I found a great deal on geckos that my boyfriend showed me from my email (its linked to his phone). We decided to order the 10 geckos for $165 since it was a great deal. Neither me nor my boyfriend (he doesn't know gecko things anyways) knew what this was leading to. I picked out the geckos I wanted and though a few that I wanted weren't available, I chose different ones and was still satisfied. This morning I recieved all geckos, luckily alive and fat...but the containers were filled with diahrreah and pin-worms.
 
The second set of pics , the first and second one... You can see the wind on the side of the container. Just there, crawling around. Yuck.
 
Nikki you can also see that he INFACT DID NOT worm like he said he did. I think it's hilarious that he think internet anonymity is going to save him. Hiding under a different name such as the one used in the email i posted. Chaz, I hope the book of justice gets slammed on you hard.

Luckily they look plump, so I would get some wormer in them. Since you can see the pinworms, those are the kind that come from feeder insects like crickets. They should not harm the gecko and will go away quickly with wormer. I would get fecals run to make sure they don't have anything else.

Good luck with them. It looks like they should be ok after a few weeks (just from what I can see).


Chaz using a new name is not good. Thank you for coming forward with the info. That price was ridiculous cheap, so it's obvious he wants them gone fast.
 
It appears to me that he is trying to get out as fast as he can. It's one thing to send wormy geckos and claim you didn't know they were wormy... It's super sketchy but you can assume some level of possible innocence. Obviously based on everything else we can assume he wasn't innocent. But changing his name to hide who he is to get animals sold, clearly knowing they are wormy from the previous transactions with him... That is acting with the intent to deceive.
 
Obviously it's chaz that sent those geckos but just to add to the evidence against him check out his hand writing on the tubs vs this letter he sent me with my teeny free sample that was supposed to make up for the whole 50 gram tub of his crud that was full of rocks. Looks the same to me!

I'm not sure what would need to be done to get him perminantly blocked from Facebook but I think we should figure it out and do it so he cant make any more profiles and scam anyone else. I know that fb will van people, anyone know how to get that done?

Exactly. Even healthy geckos can have small amounts of worms naturally and they can easily get pinworms from feeders. Often times they pass on their own and go away if the bad feeders are gone. The fact that he knew that they had them and sent them anyways was crappy. It was brought to his attention before and he admitted that he knew. My biggest concern is that he used a new fake name though. You only have to do that if you are hiding who you are.

There is a way to report people for different issues and I believe making a fake profile is one. That option should be on each page/profile he starts.

As far as I know he's deleted all of them. I would have reported them if he kept them up long enough to be reported. Seems like he keeps them just long enough to scam someone then takes them down. I'm not sure how to report a page that has been deleted.
 
His fake facebook was pulled down from facebook. My joint mod Trevor King informed me of that earlier. Ill send a screen shot in just a second. He reported the account.

If that is what happened then he shouldn't be able to make any more profiles. Facebook usually blocks the person's ip address when something like that happens.
