    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

It makes me sick to see this. I hope everyone starts posting this thread on their new business page. People need to be aware of who they are dealing with.

They can't delete reviews from Yelp, Manta, Google, Yahoo, etc. and those tend to pop up on the first page in Google searches.

There are also three Facebook feedback groups where you should post your experience if you haven't already, or at least update your review to include the name of the B&M store if you did post it:

I bought from these people a while back "earlier this year" and I will never ever do it again. I bought 7-8 gecko from them and all of them died except 2. It was the worst experience ever. The only offered to replace 1 gecko out of all of them and I still haven't gotten that as I'm being required to pay shipping and in refusing to do so. Everything I did was my fault according to them but yet out of all the geckos only 2 would eat. It was terrible and now seeing this I feel the need to post about it. The have even came back to my state and refused to meet with me after I caught them trying to sell my gecko the owed me on Craigslist. Worst experience ever wish I saw this sooner

I'm so sorry to hear that Jessica. Were they just not eating or were there other health issues? Did you look ok when you got them? Any runny or weird poop? I'm not surprised that they will not refund you. Their business ethics are terrible.
 
Well I was new to western banded so I did not know what to look for they looked ok to me but little did I know once I got then home I consulted a breeder and was told they where severely Malnourished. When I first sent them a email about problems they where friendly and offered help. But as soon as the geckos started firing everything was my fault. I had them on paper towel I was demanded to put them on sand or they wouldn't be garaunteed. I was told thebcricketsbwhere to big yet they where smalls, I was told the heat wasn't right, I was supposed to mist the sides blah blah blah. The wife got really ugly with me. Yet my hatchlings I have are doing just fine on the way I care for them. I eventually moved them to sand like they demanded then the very next day another died with a mouth full of sand! But I was told that was my fault to that their was something lodged in the mouth! Yeah of course their was SAND! I eventually gave up and took matters into my own hands and I have 2 females left and my hatchlings 6 total....... Out of the 4 that died the only agreed to give me 1 gecko in return on the demand I paid for shipping which I didn't think was fair. So iv been waiting for them to return to Missouri......

About 2-3 month later I saw a ad on Craigslist for 1.2 western banded so I responded to it only to find out it was mike Webb in Missouri trying to sell my western banded he owed me. He agreed to meet with me if I drove 1.5 hrs to meet him. So I waited and later his wife messaged me and said we weren't meeting they where taking a different way home.

So I have given up and decided to sell my westerns I have left I don't expect to ever get my male they owe me..... Looks like they took me. They also where selling severely malnourished Leopard Geckos at their table the day of the show one of my clients bought a gecko from them and brought it to me so I could try to save it and sure enough it died two days later and was positive for parasites. I strongly recommend no one to buy from them.

I'm so sorry to hear all that. They should have been more helpful and not rude about everything. However, I'm glad they didn't meet you. I would never take an animal from them no matter what. I have a feeling you would have wasted all that time to get another animal that very well might have died. I am not surprised by any of this though.
 
Well I will be getting word out to family and friends up in Colorado to not do business with these "people". And seeing as how quite a few of my friends up there deal in reptiles, I'm betting that the word will spread to avoid them like the plague.

Doesn't surprise me that they have yet to do anything or show anything. They seem like they don't care so long as they make a quick buck. Such a shame and waste.

Jessica, I am so sorry you got "got" by Mike/Amanda, too! Now I wish I would have been more diligent about bumping this link on my FB page more often... you might have seen it and been saved a world of heartbreak. :(


Do you have any of the messages still? It might add more weight to the argument that these people are not to be dealt with, no matter what, and that my case with Bella and later treatment was not a fluke occurrence.
 
Geckos

I don't as this was a long time ago but I do still have my original photo of some of the geckos and you can tell just how terrible they where

They definitely were not healthy. If those were captive bred animals and not imports, then it's even more disgusting. I received an import in bad shape like that, but she gained a ton of weight once she was hydrated and fed well. Great job with the two you have left. They look much better.
 
I can only hope that people will be able to get their business in trouble easier now that it's an actual store. Complaints will get filed quickly if they keep selling sick animals that die.

One can hope. But my guess is short of someone with a mountain of incontrovertible hard evidence that the Webbs are knowingly selling sick animals, nothing will be done. Perhaps that's a little cynical, but the reality is they appear to have gotten away with this for a long time.
