This is not exactly true. When I was first asked about this tortoise only three days ago by Tuan, what I told him was that no #443 offspring were sold directly to Ici Li by any of the three people who have owned dam #443, but that did not mean Ici Li didn't purchase the male from someone who DID buy one of the many #443 offspring. I told him to ask Ici Li from whom he bought the tortoise and knowing that information might enable me to confirm the claim.

Tuan declined to ask Ici Li for that information and told me that he had not bothered asking Ici Li about it because he (Tuan) decided against buying the tortoise because the asking price of $6500 was too high. The confusing thing to me upon reading this thread was that Tuan had told me Ici Li was selling the tortoise and never mentioned anything about Robert Brunner.

I also found out that just yesterday Tuan was attempting to trade this same tortoise to yet another person (Jerry Carucci) when Jerry asked me for my opinion of the animal and sent me photos of the tortoise in the same pen as those which Tuan had sent me on Monday.

I am left with the question of how and why Robert Brunner would know what I had told Tuan only a day or so ago because I have never had any communication with Robert Brunner in any form. Furthermore, if Dr. Brunner doesn't still have the tortoise, why would he need or be given that information by Tuan?

To m, it seems quite possible Robert Brunner still has the tortoise and was offering it to Tuan which prompted Tuan to contact me on Monday. Was Tuan then trying to "flip" the tortoise before even buying it when he offered to trade or sell it Jerry Carucci yesterday? I believe it would appear that way to most thinking people. This is very likely why Tuan cannot post a photo of the tortoise next to a paper with the date on it which I believe someone requested a few posts ago (because the tortoise is not in his possession).

All of the above makes it extremely hard to know who and what to believe in this debacle as far as I am concerned.

Actually, you're wrong, and it might be a problem. I am not KYTuan's keeper -- I'm not even friends with him. He reached out to me yesterday with a photo of the tortoise Dr. Robert Brunner had claimed died inquiring about information regarding the genetics of the tortoise.

As I've mentioned earlier in this thread, what he wishes to share with the community is up to him. Frankly, he has no motivation nor incentive to share anything. Keeping rare and value animals is an extremely private matter, and it may not be something he wishes to share or disclose. I'll leave that up to him.

On my end, I have already posted the text messages and photo he sent to me showing the tortoise I sold Robert very much alive and healthy.

Bill, if you've been paying attention in this thread, Robert Brunner confirmed a few pages back that he did indeed do a deal with a Tuan, but it was for a "different" radiated tortoise.

In addition, Tuan has no dog in this fight and no motivation nor incentive to post anything. I'm not sure how you drew the conclusion that he "cannot post a photo of the tortoise next to a paper with the date on it."

Post #34 in this thread indicates that Tuan already has the tortoise in his possession. Post #25 makes clear that Tuan has no intention of selling the animal. Pay attention -- the details are important.

And .. I have ALL my documents now verified from the vet BS, the only documents you would need VET verified are the ones about the animal...So why would you need ALL documents Vet verified?

Now Dr. Brunner, I couldn't care less about you, your business or anything that you are outside of the Fauna community. That's YOUR problem. But the way you portray yourself here; that's our problem. You are arrogant, flippant and pretty much think everyone should bow down to you because of the "Dr." suffix on your name. That's not how life works, (That's not how ANY of this is supposed to work...I love that commercial and felt it was appropriate here. )

As for the OP, I don't know if he's being fully truthful, but I do know that Dr. Brunner wasn't always being truthful when he type the last time he had an issue with someone. So what makes me think he'll take his doctoral code of ethics into this thread either? I think both parties are not being fully forthcoming, and it's going to hurt both of them.

As for Dr. Brunner, these are YOUR life choices you are making. No one else is making them for you. If you choose to act a fool, that's on you, and ONLY you. (I believe that they tell you that when you graduate Med school. MAKE ETHICAL DECISIONS AS THEY WILL FOLLOW YOU.)

Actually, Dr. Brunner was the one that insisted on PayPal. I was actually a bit shocked when I found out he didn't have cash for an in-person transaction, and he insisted that PayPal would suffice. I have never been a fan of PayPal and try to avoid whenever necessary.

Right? That's probably the most moronic thing he's said in this whole thread! My daughter would never ever come with me to meet a stranger, especially one I think is scary. Aside from my husband the only member of my family I'd ever consider bringing with me would be my dog. Even if hubby and the dog were with me I still would never bring my child. I honestly don't even want to try to imagine what he was thinking when he decided to do that.

As it stands, I don't expect to receive any monetary compensation from Dr. Robert "Bobby" Brunner (he's broke). If he wishes to make good on the funds I am owed from the sale of my "dead" tortoise now healthily in KYTuan's hands, I will be more than happy to make a posting reflecting final resolution.

However, if Dr. Brunner chooses to continue lying and evading, I will allow evidence to continue building up in this thread. Ultimately, the Fauna community will make the final judgement for themselves and treat this as a learning opportunity and dissect it in order to prevent these types of outcomes.

My purpose in creating this thread is to highlight the facts and to prevent future victims from suffering my fate in dealing with this truly evil and unethical "doctor" -- if he treats his patients and employers with the same fraudulent demeanor he treated Parrots of the World and me, I truly feel sorry for them. For Dr. Brunner's sake, let's all hope this isn't the case.
