Perhaps you should stop in, as both NY state and NYC require separate licenses to practice as a vet. Take a copy of the receipt. I doubt any business would be happy to find a "receipt" posted online for licensed services that they don't provide, as that could potentially land them in legal hot water.

I get the feeling that both of these guys suddenly realized how bad they look here, and expect everything, the alleged forgeries, the lies, the legal threats, all to be swept under the table and ignored because it is in their interest to get this thread hushed up.

I think he just doesn't want to get involved ... to say anything would shine a light on all of this which would be great but would out the true liar(s) here depending on what he knows I also noticed that Tuan is a friend of one of the people who posted a positive thread in the BOI on Dr. Brunner .. not that means a lot I suppose.

Nearly 350 posts later, and I think we know less of what ACTUALLY happened to the animal (and between this buyer and seller) than we did when this thread was started.

I genuinely hope that the craftier amongst us don't give up on this regardless of wether or not they settle this amongst themselves.

Personally, I am begining to believe that perhaps drugs DO play a significant role in this transaction, perhaps in both sides, as the behaviors exhibited by both the buyer and the seller ~scream~ illegality, imo. You usually see this type of evasion and deception on reality rehab programs, rather than the BOI.

All in all, I would never do business with EITHER or these people! They are both extremely duplicitous and untrustworthy!

As of today, Wednesday, August 10th 2016, Dr. Robert Brunner has paid me the full balance I've been owed. I have also returned the ring he initially put up as collateral.

Being the victim of this debacle, it was never my intention to offend anyone, as I had nothing against any community member except my dispute with Dr. Robert Brunner. If my frustration from being scammed rubbed off on you in the wrong way, I sincerely apologize. Anyone that has been scammed can attest to the fact that it is an extremely frustrating and unpleasant experience. There is a lot to learn from my transaction, as what was initially supposed to be an extremely straightforward deal soon spiraled into a nightmare. In fact, of the 10 years I have been involved in the wildlife trade, this is the first time I have ever faced this kind of situation. I guess there really is a first time for everything.

I would like to give an enormous THANK YOU to the FaunaClassifieds community, BOI, moderators (especially Mr. Herald Moore), and fellow reptile lovers for continuing to put pressure on Brunner to resolve the debt he owed me on this deal. If it were not for your continuous support and digging through the available evidence I posted, there is no doubt in my mind that I would have never received the funds I was owed. The aggravation I have had to deal with is finally over.

Lastly, thank you for all of the texts and private messages I have received from my well-wishers and supporters. Thank you for your steadfast persistence, and trust in me.

While I am glad to see that you boys have successfully shook-hands and made-up, you don't get to drop a bomb like this one and then expect it to just disappear. I think you will find that the BOI Membership is far to curious for that.

There remain a couple of unanswered questions, and they are of particular relevance to the community (once you publicly warn of a scammer in our midsts).

Is the animal still alive, and who is in possession of said animal?
We're the vet bills legitimate or not?

You JUST got done apologizing for your brusque behavior because you thought you were "done" ... yet you're willing to hop right back on the train when someone is trying to help everyone get the remainder of the information that will continue to keep the community safer. This gives off the impression that you really were only concerned with getting what was owed you, and you could care less whether the rest of the pertinent information that will educate the rest of us about what went down. I don't know if that's what you actually think, I'm just telling you that's how it looks.

The purpose of the BOI is... well, the cool thing is that you don't get to declare what it's purpose is and bend it to your will. Obviously, you got what YOU wanted from it, but now you have to allow other people the same satisfaction. You illuminated a very sketchy deal, and just because you got paid (paid off?) doesn't mean it's "over". Your choice now is, "Do I continue to invest in the community by assisting in seeing this through to the end, or do I make myself look nearly as sketchy as the scammer by flipping a big middle finger to everyone since I got mine?"

By posting a thread and declaring that we have a Scamner in our community, he he started an investigation. Now that he has his money, he just wants to drop the whole thing. That isn't how this works.

Ici, just because you took hush-money, doesn't in any way obligate any of us to keep quite...and we won't.

Yes, you have wronged the community. You cried "Wolf", announcing publicly that the communities in danger from a scammer, but now that the person who YOU said is a scammer has paid you off, you no longer wish to inform the community.

You USED the community for your own interest, and now abandon the community's interests now that you have "got yours".
