Maybe because i have worked with chams for 15 years so i guess i may know what im doing but keep asking me stupid questions and prove that your just reaching you are just as big a low life as craig. While you would like this to be the bottom line, it actually isn't and the fact that it isn't is your fault. Furthermore that it is your fault it isn't the bottom is something your having a really hard time accepting. You've consistently come across as questionable in this entire multithread epic and have made claims that simply aren't supported or supportable (such as the "not needing to quarantine captive bred animals").

What kind of "MBD"? As I noted above for the hobby "MBD" has become a catchall name for a number of nutritional disorders that affect the uptake and metabolism of calcium. Which one are we discussing??

If you don't know the kind of "MBD" you were treating how do you know that you were treating them correctly? So its is a little hard to make the claim that were treating the animals appropriately when you don't really know exactly what was wrong with them ... particularly since there wasn't a necropsy to demonstrate that you didn't cause aspiration pneumonia.

On another note every vet I've taken one of my pets to photographs them on the first visit for their records, did this vet do that? Sure the vet wrote that they came from craig but how can he actually know that, it's up to you to prove the animals seen by the vet we're the smell ones craig sold you.

Since you've been keeping chameleons for 15 years, how hard would it have been for you to take some of your own animals that were sick and play it off like they came from Craig?

You never showed pictures of these sick chams coming out of the box, we're just supposed to believe you. As much as you like making videos, you'd think there would be a video of you unboxing them...heck, I almost never take videos on my phone but I always record when I unbox an animal just in case there is an issue. Someone as ready to pull out the camera and take a video as you are would SURELY have recorded these sick animals as soon as you saw them. But you didn't for some reason.

You're trying to scam and not getting your way. Calling people names isn't going to make you seem any more credible, no matter how much you try to pull that tactic.

That emboldened statement is not accurate even if typed in ALL CAPS. The documentation provides a record that you submitted a set of animals for veterinary examination and the health of the set of animals examined was deemed lacking by the veterinarian to the extent described by him. The attribution of sourcing for the animals which were examined was based on your stated assertion and presentation of the label from the shipment sent by Craig Wyatt.

No more. No less.

You did indeed submit ill animals. You did indeed receive animals from Craig (the number of which seems to have changed from one point in the story to another...). I cannot say that the animals examined came from the claimed source and I cannot say that the animals examined did not come from the claimed source based on the evidence presented thus far.

All that was proven was that there were chams brought to a vet. They could have been chams you owned that you neglected or ones that Craig sent you. If they are ones he sent you, why not post pictures of them then and now? Why not return them for the refund? Is it because you don't have them anymore because you sold them?
 
Nor can the alleged vet verify where those 8 chameleons that were allegedly examined came from. All heresay.

And sorry, still not buying those vet letters. Very, very unprofessional and a breach of confidentiality when the vet discloses heresay (the seller), and allegedly composes not one but two letters, undated, and appearing totally contrived. As if one was not good enough, so let's do another with the "unfit for sale" emboldened in the header.

I sent an email to the clinic identified on the letterheads that Jay presented. I received an email back from someone who purports to be Dr. Stancel, who is a member here (DVMExotics).
He defends the conclusion about a refund in his letter by quoting and sent me a link to New Jersey's Pet Purchasing Protection Law. However, when I actually read the law he sent, I found that what he sent refers specifically and only to dogs and cats.
In addition, nowhere does it permit him to use the actual name of a seller in a contested transaction based only on the information given to him by a client to his veterinary clinic.
I hope DVMExotics will appear and shed some light here, because based on the yahoo personal email address I cannot for sure identify that the reply was from Dr. Stancel, and sending an inapplicable law as a defense seems unprofessional to me.
 
Truly unbelievable that we end up with another BOI thread that is totally a waste of space, unless you count the fact that Jay has now shot himself in both feet!

Amazingly the number of animals has doubled from 4 in "the other thread" to 8 in this one, thought Jay claimed he only received 4...lol

This is the big issues scammers and liars face....keeping "the big lie" straight and messing up on details.......the truth usually does come out eventually.
 
Jay, there are a few things I would like to see. And before you ask, I don't know Craig and have never done business with him.

First, where is the receipt from the vet?

Second, where are the pictures of each animal? First when they were sick and then again after they died? It should be easy to match up patterns to make sure they were Craig's animals.

I ask for these things mostly because you say you buy and sell a lot of animals. If you buy large numbers from people, it is very possible that you took animals to the vet, but they were not Craig's animals. Especially since you think you don't need to quarantine new animals coming in (this alone would make me never deal with you).

I would like to see proof of all these things. Being in the reptile business, you know it's required to send pictures of the deceased animals to the breeder as proof.

If you want people to listen to you, you first need to calm down and stop lashing out at everyone asking questions. This is how the BOI works. You want us to believe you over Craig, so start proving things. Not just a generic letter from the vet with no date or anything on it. That vet just listened to you when you said they came from Craig. He has no idea if it's true or not.

The New Jersey Pet Protection Act refers only to dogs and cats. To repeatedly mention that particular act as the reason for what is written in the letters seems unethical to me, it seems as if it is putting an official stamp of approval on such a letter which really according to the law, is not warranted.
