• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If you could have any reptile or amphibian in the world what would if be?

Draco volans, though IIRC they don't do well in captivity. Bummer because I'd build up a floor to ceiling enclosure for them in a long room.

I couldn't possibly narrow it down to just one species.
But, here are a few of my personal dream herps that, for one reason or another, I have never owned:
- Marbled newt
- Alpine newt
- Surinam toad
- Yellow-spotted River Turtle
- Borneo River turtle
- Radiated tortoise
- Blotched Blue Tongue skink
- Northern White lipped python
- Green Cat snake

I'd better just stop there.

Not necessarily in this particular order: 1) C.B. Varanus komodoensis, C.B. (I believe that is impossible, but, feel free to correct me) Conraua goliath (I know this is technically an amphibian, but still...I <3 them) and a C.B. Sphenodon punctatus punctatus.

Nobody said this list had to be realistic, correct! :dgrin: :D

As long as we are going to list things like Komodo Dragons and Tuataras and other unrealistic things I'll go with a velociraptor. If we need to keep it living I'd go with the Chinese giant salamander as well although I don't really like that orange one at all.

On the more realistic side Centralian Blue tongues (might as well be unrealistic for me) , Naultinus elegans, caiman lizards, green tree monitors, Masobe geckos. All things I could have had in the past (except for the skinks) but I just can't justify spending the money. I'd also love a group of monkey tail skinks.

Oh, and Corroboree frogs. and molochs...and...

Egyptian uromasyx, caiman lizard, black headed python. Saw the most beautiful black headed python sold on this site a week or so ago.

I breed D. Maculatus flying draco lizards and the captive bred do way better in captivity then the wild caught.
