    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

You're both at fault here. You should've never told him to ship in this weather & shipping conditions, which you said you would not hold him accountable if anything happened.
He should've never shipped in such a box, as well as the weather conditions regardless if you said you didn't care. It's not about the buyer, it's about the animal.

But with your past of trying to sell off a "dead" tortoise that apparently wasn't dead, who knows if this is the actual monitor that was shipped to you or one that you already had to showcase yet another instance of you receiving a "dead animal".

When I paid $150 for overnight shipping early a.m. with syr I was under the assumption that it would be professionally packaged and shipped. Regardless of the weather she would be alive now that he packaged it correctly. She has two burns on her exactly where to heat packs were stuck and she was squeezed into a box less than half her size

And I figured you guys would rehash the whole tortoise thing when I posted this. I just wanted everyone to know about this guy. The tortoise thing has been settled and I really don't want to rehash it other than to say the truth is still out there. Have a great weekend guys!

Am I the only one who finds it odd that a Doctor would have such a problem with basic sentence composition and structure?

It died from being wrapped around itself in a box less than half its size with four heat packs burning it directly on its flesh. The weather has nothing to do with it. The box was actually warm when I got it.

Ok OP, until Lucille linked the threads and I remembered who you were I was totally supporting your side. I still think it's unconscionable if that animal was shipped that way and I'd like to hear the other side. But seriously OP, you refer to the other thread as a problem with a tortoise? No not paying promptly or misrepresenting a tortoise is a problem with a tortoise. This was a problem with a state board licensed professional forging documents representing another state board licensed profession. That's not a tortoise problem. It's a character problem, a professional problem, a scammer problem, and if I'm not mistaken potentially a felony problem. I'm sorry if you got scammed in this recent transaction. I'm certainly sorry for that poor animal. But I'm sorry to say, no trader rating or amount of positive feedback will ever balance out forging veterinary documents to pull a scam.
 
All I will say is the documents were never forged. Find one Post in that thread where parrots of the world said it was forged. They were one hundred percent real and to this day no one has had a owner of parrots of the world say that they were fake! But anyway I'm not going to get into this again for the whole weekend. Again I just wanted to make everyone aware of this guy! All the best

For someone who threatens to sue at the drop of a hat, you seem to be ignorant of the fact that circumstantial evidence can be good evidence. Or maybe you aren't ignorant of that fact at all, perhaps you are doing this weird 'I'm innocent' dance to try to convince us that you are pure as snow.

I'm pretty sure the seller would not use 4 heat packs in warmer weather. It had four heat packs because of the sub-freezing temperature. If the monitor wasn't dead prior to being shipped it probably would've died of asphyxiation from all those heat packs burning up most of the available oxygen.
 
Hey Lucille, correct me if I'm wrong because I didn't reread the entire thread but isn't this the one where we didn't need the owners of the shop to specifically tell us the docs were forged because the owners of the shop and their website state they don't offer veterinary services and therefore the docs are obviously forged?

I would actually encourage anyone who has a few extra minutes to read through that thread to get a better idea of how Brunner handles his issues.
 
Thank you Lucille, yes that was the exact info I was remembering and after reviewing it I was reminded that another forum member even went by in person to verify whether or not they offer veterinary services. So that puts everything in a shadier light. Here's what we know 1. In a previous post it was proven OP here forged vet docs, no we don't need further confirmation. The fact that u have vet docs from a business that doesn't offer vet services is proof that they are false. 2. After being obviously caught in that lie OP still can not own up to it honestly and is trying to misrepresent his prior actions.

Obviously this puts his representation of any situation in great question. And probably not too many people here are concerned that OP lost out on a business deal but that still leaves us with fact number 3, which I am concerned about. And that is that someone is responsible for this animal's cruel death. I'd really like to hear the other party's story on how that happened.
 
So far we have no proof that the other party was contacted. I am hoping that someone can do that.
 
I have located someone who is a member here and also a member in that FB group and have requested that he notify Giovanny. I also sent a link to this thread.
 
I'm also very curious to hear the other side of this. Obviously there are some credibility issues, but if the seller really did ship like that, I want to know that too. There is a chance that Brunner is telling the story true, and I wouldn't want the seller to escape notice if indeed he did ship like this. But I get where people are coming from in their hesitation to believe it.

In my opinion, I don't think we're going to hear the whole truth and nothing but the truth from Brunner. To me, it's very fishy that if this poor lizard was shipped inappropriately and if the total fault was on the other party that Brunner would only be looking for half the $. There's something missing here.

I feel sorry for the lizard. And I too think that if Giovanni was culpable that I'd like to know. But given Brunner's history of threats and other poor behaviors in the past thread, there are some pieces of this puzzle we are not seeing that don't have only to do with whoever the other party is.

I think the sudden change we see here is due to the fact that the last thread is now linked to this one, and I'm sure he does not want anyone directly involved in this current issue to read that thread.
