    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Nope, not a 3rd party quote. Anthony Martinez, who posted the original sale ad sold the monitor to Skylar Petrancosta. Anthony's FB posts to Skylar seem to support that sale to Skylar. Just WHY Skylar then sold / flipped the poor girl to Giovanni is unknown and WHY Giovanni was supposed to hold her, as Skylar claims, is unknown and frankly weird. Giovanni then flipped that poor animal yet again to Brunner. ONLY victim is the animal and sorry, I don't see an anonymous 3rd party quote.

There is nothing wrong with third party quotes, they are offered frequently here to make points. I think you may have been thinking of anonymous third party quotes, but in my post the identity of the person I quoted was clear.

Justin, the statutes I listed were for New York State and only have a couple specific species of monitors listed, and the Black Throat Monitor is one. Here is a recent news article involving a Black Throat Monitor to show that this is not one of those dusty statutes that are not used but on the contrary this one is enforced:

I was more remarking on the heresay nature of it, which is generally frowned upon as well, no? I put the smiley face, I wasn't trying to chew you out. :) In the past, I have seen "I got an email from so and so and this is what it said" posts not received well, and subsequently asked to be substantiated.

My bad. No offense intended.
 
Interesting link Lucille! So on top of everything else, Brunner was having a prohibited species sent to him? If they're not legal in NY, I wonder if he was going to flip it again too. That poor monitor.

It makes me wonder, too, about Brunner's usual response to anything that does not please him- he threatens to sue. And he has made this threat (see post #6) in this instance as well.
If it is not legal for him to possess this lizard, I do not think that he would be stupid enough to file a suit over the matter. Perhaps he thinks that the threat alone will net him some cash, if he can't sue, and if he did pay using Paypal friends and family option, I guess all he has left is bluff and bluster.
 
Yo, Mr. Brenner ... when are you going to resolve that tort issue? You know , the one you said WAS resolved earlier in this thread and as of today is still NOT resolved? Yeah, I know it's not February yet, but geez, dude! You're busy buying other animals and haven't yet satisfied the other guy you stole from? And you are going to ship a tort to him by Feb 17, 2017 to resolve that issue?

Whatever issues remain between Anthony Martinez and Juanito Aguilar only muddy these already dirty waters, but I betcha Nick is onto something.

Let this debacle serve as a warning .. a person is only as good as the company they keep. Mr. Brenner, you seem to be losing so much ground in that respect, as are the others that are part of this poor animal's short life and subsequent death. In the end, only that monitor is the victim. Yeah, karma, baby :)
 
Oh my! You are so correct, Nick. My very, very red-faced apologies. S. Brenner and R. Brunner. I did indeed get confused. Hell, not the first time in my time here, either ... but probably the first time I wish I could get a moronic post I made removed.

The only sadness I feel in any of this is for the monitor that died. Poor thing. I can only think about Giovanni stuffing the animal in that box and holding it down so he can close the box.. Its a hideous image. Obviously if you have to stuff an animal in a box, it is too small... No common sense and the animal was the one that suffered.
