Here's a bit more thorough TLDR:
1. Garrett was paid big money by several people (noticeably the original poster) to import species from Pakistan he promised he could import.
2. Garrett did not refund money after a significant amount of time went by (~6 months). While imports do take time, the buyer was dissatisfied and no longer had faith that Garrett could deliver. Garrett did not refund the buyer, instead dragging out the import process.
3. A year goes by. No money, no animals. Garrett posts questionable import papers from Pakistan. The country is known for illegal import/export papers, as the papers are easily forged within the country. Garrett's Pakistani contact is questionable.
4. It comes to light that Garrett is a convicted animal smuggler, having been sentenced via the USFWS. Garrett's reputation is now questionable.
5. Instead of trying to assure buyers, Garrett lashes out at the entire reptile community, posting fraudulent BOIs (I was one victim), posting nasty comments on profile pages, and giving tons of negative karma to everyone, again coupled with pure vitriolic comments.
6. Garrett's juvenile behavior creates a huge scene of unhappy, disgruntled people who were otherwise not doing business with him but got dinged by his immature behavior none-the-less through the above childish retributions. Hence the pages and pages of back and forth between several members and Garrett. Meanwhile, he continues trying to sell questionable animals with questionable paperwork in the classifieds (a rather cheeky move).
7. 1.5 years pass. Garrett is slowly refunding people portions of their money. He has since abandoned trying to post on this thread.
Hopefully that helps. He's somebody I would never, ever do business with. Between his questionable reputation, prior history, and horrific behavior with dissatisfied customers, he is not a stable, trustworthy individual.
