    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Alexis' only point was to throw a shot at a couple of guys who, like so many, called her out on her ignorance and starvation to fit in, no matter what side of the fence (the first to give her positive karma), right or wrong. And no, I didn't make Alexi's point. She made mine. I defy her to note one single contribution to this site that was unbiased. What contribution has she made with regard to this thread alone. Last I checked, I was needling a bad guy. I have never had a bad guy bone in my body and have a clean record. But you guys keep up the good work in distracting from the real threat to this industry with your melodramatic nonsense as if I am part of the problem. No questions for Garrett? Got it, wink wink...

Garrett took a ton of money from different victims for a deal that never existed and lots of animals he sold to a few all died. AVOID GARRETT SMITH LIKE THE PLAGUE!
 
Here's a bit more thorough TLDR:

1. Garrett was paid big money by several people (noticeably the original poster) to import species from Pakistan he promised he could import.
2. Garrett did not refund money after a significant amount of time went by (~6 months). While imports do take time, the buyer was dissatisfied and no longer had faith that Garrett could deliver. Garrett did not refund the buyer, instead dragging out the import process.
3. A year goes by. No money, no animals. Garrett posts questionable import papers from Pakistan. The country is known for illegal import/export papers, as the papers are easily forged within the country. Garrett's Pakistani contact is questionable.
4. It comes to light that Garrett is a convicted animal smuggler, having been sentenced via the USFWS. Garrett's reputation is now questionable.
5. Instead of trying to assure buyers, Garrett lashes out at the entire reptile community, posting fraudulent BOIs (I was one victim), posting nasty comments on profile pages, and giving tons of negative karma to everyone, again coupled with pure vitriolic comments.
6. Garrett's juvenile behavior creates a huge scene of unhappy, disgruntled people who were otherwise not doing business with him but got dinged by his immature behavior none-the-less through the above childish retributions. Hence the pages and pages of back and forth between several members and Garrett. Meanwhile, he continues trying to sell questionable animals with questionable paperwork in the classifieds (a rather cheeky move).
7. 1.5 years pass. Garrett is slowly refunding people portions of their money. He has since abandoned trying to post on this thread.

Hopefully that helps. He's somebody I would never, ever do business with. Between his questionable reputation, prior history, and horrific behavior with dissatisfied customers, he is not a stable, trustworthy individual.

"LOL" is right. The entertainment value you provide is priceless, like a little monkey flinging poop from it's cage at the zoo. Post #10 explains jack squat. You left out quite a bit. You left out proof of anything, including proof that a Pakistani even exists. He doesn't. You left out your seedy past (see post #93). You left out how most, probably all, of the Princeps you sold died (see post 227). You never responded to post #57. Vanessa's post is spot on. AVOID GARRETT SMITH LIKE THE PLAGUE!
 
This scammer Garrett Smith still owes me $1,523.00 and he last told me he is not refunding me for dead animals he sent me.. I bought 4 U. Princeps and 4 U. Thomasi and only one of each lived, they came in cold and and dying because they were frozen.. He said it was my fault and he will not refund me.. Talk to the person who he bought them from and told me Garrett Smith got them cold and also try to blame him...

What goes around comes around... He will get his in time, do not deal with Garrett Smith or his helpers...

Watch your self because he is a very bad businessman and disgusting to work with... He also sell sick animals...

Watch your money and don't deal with him.
I try to work with him and waited and waited and now he don't answer my emails, text or phone calls...

Sorry, but apparently a post was made here by accident by a member that was completely off topic and unrelated to the subject. So I removed that post and the following three followup posts made about it. I normally don't like anything deleted from the BOI, but in this case I felt an exception was needed to reduce the off topic clutter it caused.

Claiming he has legally exported (from Australia) eastern Bearded dragons and pure Australian frilled dragons. Even if it's true and he does in fact have these animals, I doubt you'd ever get them if you paid for them.

He's a known thief and liar, steer clear.

I know that the Australian government can be quite persistent in pursuing and prosecuting this sort of thing. Perhaps you can send them a link to and images of the ads in question.

They would probably be more than happy to call US authorities down on him.

I just read the ad. He imported them from Europe, not Australia.
